Wow fantastic can feel the anger between the two just amazing work.x
I love that you do these back stories and include your thoughts as you are designing and executing these. I think similarly when I sculpt as a hobby.
I wish I could give multiple thumbs up. :(
Thanks JB :) I'm sure many artists think like this including us
I love how raw your videos are in terms of the creative process! It's super inspiring! 😭 Amazing work as usual!!!
Thank you :) that’s very nice of you to say. To me… that rawness is what it’s all about
In 2020 this sculpting this caught my attention, so, I immediately start to watch a lot of video's just like this. And let me tell you something, in my opinion you are the most talented sculptor that I found so far. 100% inspiration.
Thank you José, you're very kind.I can think of at least five other sculptors on UA-cam more skilled than me ;)
You are an absolute inspiration. I love seeing your artistic process and personality in all of your videos! I am very glad to have found your channel! :)
Thank you Austin :) That's so nice of you to say. I appreciate it very much.
Hope your creative talent makes you happy and feel better. You are so awesome and yes I am a fighter. Grandmaster of martial arts and I have a license to handle fighters but ar 85 years old I was looking for creative outlets and came upon your site and have become a fan. I wish I could do anything with clay but MO a t tutorials are not informative for beginners.
you are so incredibly good at dynamic poses. like holy crap, it feels like if i look away for a second ill miss the action
Man i swear i always fall in love with your sculpts
Your compositions are always stunning and the facial expressions in this one is so powerful
You are one of the artists i look up to and hope to one day match in skill
I always think my sculpts are never going anywhere but then I hear you say that each of your sculpts taken tens of hours to make every time
Art you are seriously fantastic and an inspiration
Thank you so much 😀 A lot of this stuff just takes some patience. The reason my sculptures take so long is because I make so many mistakes. I just have enough patience to redo it again and again until I feel like it looks good. Hopefully I will make less mistakes and be faster in the future :)
Man, watching your channel is entertaining and informative as well, not only about your epic sculpt, but also you talked about your daily activities, your surroundings, and even your personal emotion about your artworks. Seems so different than any others, I'm proudly said that you're also inspired me for posting my own art in instagram as well... 👍👍
Thank you! I'm happy to know you started posting your work!
His smile is priceless at the end :)
😅😅 thank you

I know this video is a year old but I wanted to voice my appreciation of this channel, as I've been going through all your videos. I do sincerely hope you're doing well post-surgery, and just wanted to say that your work is truly inspiring and amazing. Keep it up!

Very nice! This one is right up your alley and it turned out awesome! Glad to see you had a good time with this one. 😁
Thank you :)
Love the story! That's it . . . Fan Art time! I can feel the emotion, it's like a whole novel in one moment.
Thanks Sam! That's very nice of you to say. Please do post and tag me if you end up making the fan art!
Welcome back my friend and I'm glad your recovery is going well. WOW another great piece Art, as always the detail is phenomenal, love your work and your thought process.... Now to re-watch Battle Angel. See you on the next one. Take care
Thank you so much Stephen 😊
Você é espetacular no que faz.Parabéns !
Aoutch ! I can feel his pain 😖
Love how you always share your emotional process to your work.
Thank you :)
Absolutamente genial!!! muy buena escultura👍👌
Very cool
I really like your style. From the eastern, northern gods, to the cyborgs. I like it every time. I think my favorite so far is the drawing/writing lady. So much poetry in that piece. It reminded me of the Ghibli animes, eastern vibe, "House of Flying daggers", even Ico the video game. I love this esthetic and spirituality. Hope the recovery goes well. Keep going, i've seen them all and like them all also. Great work and great artist.
Thank you :) The Calligraphist is still my favorite too
Omg I knew I felt some alita insipiration on your work ofc makes sense now
Haha, yeah. Alita the manga/comic is a true classic
I'm so amazed! Your work is beyond Incredible.
Love from Brazil.
Thanks from LA!
sj epic of these one. u are great man. success
Thank you :)
Your subject was fascinating and creepy at the same time. I got so involved in watching you work that I felt like I was stepping into another world! ( If that makes sense). Blown away, as always, at the amount of detail you put in your projects! The end result was amazing! Thanks for sharing! Continued good health!!
Thank you Sylvia :) It makes me very happy to know that you felt immersed and involved in the video as you watched.
🤭
WOW I love it ❤❤❤❤❤
Your action moves are awesome.👍👍 👍👍 👍👍 👍👍
Thanks 😁
I bought a pair of secondhand shoes the other day! I've never bought secondhand shoes before but they appeared to be so well looked after that I thought I'd give them a go. They fit well and really do have character, I had to run for a bus whilst wearing them and everything was O.K.. Later on today I have to buy vegan sausages and some other kitchen basics.
this is epic!!!
Thank you Melo!!
thank you very much for another video that doesn't bother us and as always a great modeling job full of imagination...
Thanks!
Greate to see you still have a passion when you sculpt. Your projects are amaizing (usually :) ). Still waiting for dragon sculpture.
Thank you :) One day! Eventually I'll feel like spending days sculpting nothing but scales 😂
Whoever is reading this,
I hope you have a great day!
Here is some artist inspiration for you 🎨 ✨
ua-cam.com/video/OwQvrPaL4zI/v-deo.html
WOW that sculpt is amazing, I get the bell you posted something. I stop whatever I'm doing to sit down and watch it, not only are you a great artist your also up there in the top teachers, you letting us into your thought process just holds me there straps me in and sets us on your ummm wild/crazy journey. Not sure what your profession is but you should look into a sculpting/teaching career, I would be 1 of the 1st to sign up and I don't even sculpt but wanting to start. Thank you for putting these out there for us to watch. 🙇♂️ ps glad your feeling well.
Wow, thanks Jim :) I feel like I still have much more to learn before I can teach in a well-rounded way, but I do hope to do classes in the future!
Your original idea and development through to the sculpting are simply wonderful. I'm currently working on some fine art and digital art which is pushing all the right buttons creativity wise and very fulfilling but watching you makes me want to be doing some sculpting in the very near future. Thank you for your work and continual inspiration.
Thank you once again for the kind words, Rod. If you end up sculpting something and feel like sharing, feel free to tag me on social!
@@ArtChongArt Thanks Art, will do.
You are a true artist to me
Thank you. That's very kind of you to say :)
Damn bro... This is so fire! I would like download your workflow and ideias to my mind hahahah love it!
Haha, if only that were possible right? There are many artists I would like a mental download of as well. Thanks for watching!
I very like you style! Dinamik figures very good! Thanks you for job.
Thank you very much!
Always, and I mean ALWAYS, worth the wait!! This is my new favorite... Tied with all the others😂... I kind of hope maybe you're going to join Inktober in a few days and show us your "sketchy side"😋... But mesmerising work as always!!
Thank you! Maybe I'll jump in for a couple days? Depends on a lot of things.. but mostly whether I felt like I had something I'd like to express in ink 😉
Your work is quite stunning!! I feel the real magic of your videos comes from how you explain your thought process along the way and the passion you express towards the piece you work on. Keep it up!
Quick question though, would the Chavant sculpture be the final piece or would you try to mold/cast it if you were to ever sell it?
Thank you :) yes chavant would need to be mold/cast before it could be sold, since it can never harden.
That’s so flipping COOL!!! Another great piece.
You should make another channel where you stream while you’re making these pieces.
Would you believe I've been thinking about streaming the process for a while now? ;)
👏👏👏
Said it before art,you are by far one of the…..if not the best artist in sculpting, just in awe mate, you really do inspire me 👍👏👏👏👏
Oh man you are too kind. I am definitely, 100%, NOT the best sculptor I know lol. Thank you in any case. I appreciate your kind words :)
@@ArtChongArt art ,don’t sell yourself short mate, you are absolutely fantastic,I have learnt so much just by watching your videos,so thank you very much, peace and life be be with you my mate👍
Art, that was supposed to read”peace and love be with you”and serious, you ARE a very skilled artist and you have inspired me.
The reason I say this is,I’m a 53 year old man from Merseyside in the uk(just by Liverpool)always been in to art at a early age,art college, later in life my dad taught me the building game, everything, you call it construction, later got into carving wood, netsuke, woodspirts that sort of thing, now unfortunately I have split with my missus of five years,so I’m moving back to Kent, garden of England.
So in this sad time, you still make me go into my studio(shed in the back garden lol)and carry on with my hellboy sculpt, which is turning out smart, but yes art, your work and videos have really inspired me to still want to carry on doing my hobby, even though me and me missus have decided to part, still living here while I get money together to by a camper van for me and molly(my three year old lurcher dog)to have adventures and live my life on my terms,I’m sure your friends tell you all the time about the excellent work you do mate,so take a bow, because your work is up there mate👍👏👏🙏
@@leevespa4564 Lee, thank you for sharing. It sounds like you've been going through some hard times... I can relate to some degree, and I'm very glad to know you're still working on your art, despite the difficult times. If I've been able to provide a litle motivation for you, then truly it makse the posting these videos worthwhile. Thank you for your kind words and encouragements, and I wish you the best of luck with getting your camper together so you can go adventuring with Molly.
wouhou!!!!!!! a new video!!!!!!!!
I know that I said this before, but man, the process is just so fun to watch and the final piece always turn out perfectly. (I am learning english, so if I commited some mistake just let me know)
Thank you :) I'm glad you're enjoying the video
Amazing talent you have. I wish someone would release an stl of something of this caliber so I can print and paint it. It's a fantastic snapshot. There's one issue though. I don't know if you mentioned it or not, but the liver is on the right side. Just saying :p
Dude! I bet you would rock making karas!
Yeah hajime no ippo references. Like it
Hi! Great job, I can feel the dynamics of the scene right now. I try to convey the same explosion of emotions and physics of bodies in my works, but I clearly lose to you. It will be nice if you find time to evaluate my amateur work ;) Good luck in your creativity!
Haha, thank you! We all try our best. Good luck to your work as well!
Art like with any artist that blank medium is so time consuming , concept is unique, subject inspirational , and leaving in its raw state just so much better than paint . A question what plans do you have for you fin works ? Be great if you could either get as a independent sculptor line set up , or scanned as Kit 3d prints ?
I can't believe this only has 6,000 views! Your videos are so well made, you do an incredible job explaining your creative process, and the final product is always mind-blowing. These videos deserve so many more views and I can't wait until this channel inevitably explodes in popularity. Well done!
Specific Comic you need to check out if you can...from the 90's SUPER PATRIOT illustrated by DAVE JOHNSON. A lot of robotic elements and the design aesthetic is just amazing!
Thanks I’ll check it out :)
Art,completely awesome sculpture the power of the girl and impact of here punch looks like she's gonna go right through him, sucks to be that guy. Are you gonna paint the sculpture now,I'd like to see it fully finished. Great video and channel 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Steve. I don't plan to paint this, no. I'm mostly interested in just sculpting for the moment
Finally i'm watching your video, sorry I took my time to do so ....
As always, I enjoyed watching your video so much. Had a great time, the sculpture is absolutely incredible, the energy, the design, everything. The mech parts are very well designed, I really love it. I personally prefer this kind of light hearted video ;)
My god, the moment you introduced the wire into the knees of the poor girl was horrifying xD (i'll still remember the melted little bee butt).
I've been wondering, why not just paint the iris on the plastic eye balls (if sculpting the eye is a longer process).
I think that was a good choice to slightly change the big guy position and put his arm behind the girl, the overall movement is in my opinion more pleasing to the eyes
Watching your video makes me want to sculpt something ...
Thank youuu :) I'm so glad you liked it. Those armature insertion shots really don't sit well with you huh? 😂😂
I don't paint eyes because I don't actually like the look of a more realistic eye in a clay sculpture. I find it kind of creepy 😬😬 Just a personal-taste thing. If I planned to paint the whole piece then that would be different but, but I think clay sculptures work best with clay eyes
Hey man I just love it!
Could you tell me please what kind of torch are you using? Or is it just a heat gun?
Amazing work, but amazing ideas also, and how you just explain them
Thank you. The torches are just a regular butene torch and a soldering iron with a diffusor tip
That turned out amazing!!!! Also, I recommend you to watch Megalo Box, a boxing distopian cyber-world anime! The art is freaking good ;)
Thanks! I’ll check it out :)
Imagine this to be a Movie 👌😊
Haha thank you :) I wish!
can you make more enemies, creatures or npcs from elden ring please? maybe Draconic tree sentinel, Malenia or one pair of Crucible knights, one with the shield and the other with the heavy spear thing, that would be amazing
WOWWW AMAZING WORK!!! what is this thing you use to heat the clay ?
Thank you. It’s just a butene torch
You make such fantastic anatomies so casually, would it be possible for a tutorial sometimes in the future?
Thank you :) Maybe I will do a tutorial one day. Honestly I'm still learning with every sculpture. I had to redo the big guy's back like 4 times to get it to look like this, and I still don't think it's quite right lol

Great sculpt! I enjoy the feedback into your process. I'm currently working on filming one of my own sculpture projects. It's so hard to keep your head in the art while also working cameras and mics and lights. I might have to hire an editor on Fiverr to go over all this footage. Any tips for editing.
Thank you! It's hard to give random tips on editing. I guess I would say it's the same as any other art form.. don't be precious. Cut everything you can cut while still delivering the message/story. Good luck!
Too BEASTLY
so it's Alita vs Adam Smasher.
Really great impressive work but why don't you paint them though?
Thanks Peter. This type of clay (Chavant NSP) never hardens, so it's not ideal for painting on. Some people do, but my preference is to paint hardened models like resin, epoxy, or baked polymer clays
tryin to color them
Hermoso trabajo que tipo de material utiliza ?????
Gracias. Yo uso plastilina Chavant NSP :)
(traducido a través de Google)
hello.
I would like to know when will using hard and when will using medium.
And after using max material, the NSP can re use?
Im wanting to learn sculpting but im not sure what type of clay to use, does anyone have any recommendations of clay to use? Im not sure if this matters but im wanting to learn to make decent sized statues/figures.
Similar to what Art Chong Art makes for example, Good inspiration.
Hi :) If you're just learning, Super Sculpey or other polymer clays is a good start. They can be baked hard in your home oven and generally easy to work with. There are many tutorials on youtube on how to work with polymer clays. I use Chavant NSP, a type of plastiline/oil based clay, which means it cannot be hardened, and can only be preserved by molding and casting a copy of the statue.
What is the name of the fire torch you use? How do I find it on Amazon?
I use Dremel brand butene torches, but they all do the same thing. Dremel brand is not necessary if you can’t find one
Please make tutorial for casting
Anatomy: i tried my first figure but something was off. I noticed yours, so the upper body leans forward a bit and legs back a bit ?
Hmm.. are you talking about neutral standing pose? position of the hip relative to shoulders is dependent on the posture. You can stick your hips forward and pull your shoulders back or be hunched forward. Just depends on the character
