It’s a big channel with a little bit of subscribers! Actually, I just started this channel a few weeks ago. I used to have a channel with 20 million views and around 80,000 followers, but I deleted it to start everything from scratch with up-to-date and modern technology. The other videos I made 10-15 years ago were such low resolution. You could only see them on a, smart phone clearly. Thanks for being a fan!
I love that you give some real advice even if its not sugarcoated BECAUSE IT'S TRUE. I have a little bit of summer break left and your videos have given me the wake up call that I need to grow up a lot in terms of how I approach college and these courses(especially as they get more challenging). "Oh I don't really wanna do physics rn" well what am I going to be doing for the next 40 years from 9-5.
Thank you for giving me what I needed to know about what higher education truly represents. Just finished my first year and starting my second, and I was still stuck in a laid back mindset. Thanks for the dose of reality that I needed 😊🙏🏽
Literally using this textbook right now to prep for my physics 1 class, good stuff! I study pretty much the same way except isolating the formulas, gotta add that to my bag
Thank you! I am still in school, but I noticed a lot of the advice you have shared can be applied to many of the subjects that I do. This is especially helpful since I am quite lazy and the idea of starting to review the material early to get ahead is appealing.
Congrats! I made a video for you to get an idea of what is needed for calculus based physics from calculus. Excellent! Wise human once said “a smart person learns from their mistakes and a wise person learns from others.” I’m a smart person and you’re a wise person. 😋
@@authorjond haha yeah right. I remember hearing the quote "A normal person learns from their own mistakes, a wise person learns from the mistakes of others. And a fool knows everything" This was something my teacher said to me 5-6 years ago. At that time my attitude was like "yeah yeah I know that i know that too I know everything" Haha. This quote really changed my life though
Looking forward to the math one. Struggling with my undergrad math degree, partly due to laziness, partly due to bad studying and I want to diagnose why
Getting a math degree is said to be the hardest degree to get. You’re not only learning the most complicated language on the planet, but you’re learning it at a rate that is not natural. It took me a long time to finish my bachelors of science and math. You’re exercising your brain like a professional athlete. It’s normal not to be energetic at all times with it. For me, motivation, and passion or key. Some courses I just didn’t love and some courses I did love. Just hang in there and you’ll get through it before you know it

Hey, I am from India and I am about to step into college in a few weeks. I will be doing a bachelors in electronics and telecommunications engineering. This video was very helpful. What video of yours do you suggest me to watch?
The videos on what to expect in courses and reading the textbooks are good but I will also have lessons for all topics coming daily! Thanks for being a fan!
Hello, great video, I find this to be always good advice to give to tutees. I'm wondering if you have any physics specific advice for upper division and grad level courses at all. They generally have much harder math, and the textbooks tend to be less fluffy (take Griffiths or Jackson for example)
I’m in the process of making a crash course for the Griffith electromagnetism book and the other ones related for quantum mechanics and so forth. When I was a double major in physics and math those courses, because of the math, made me become a math major so that I can understand all the mathematics behind it. Ultimately: I wish I had just stayed in the physics degree because once I understood all the math I realized I didn’t need to understand the math to do the physics. So the best advice I can give to you is to just memorize how to solve those problems that arise in the physics and do not get caught up on the foundation of the mathematical background needed to fully understand why the equations work way they do. Just learn how to solve them and move on. I wasted 10 years mastering math just because I couldn’t allow myself to apply without knowing everything about it. Math is just a language. There’s nothing profound about the math. Physics is profound.
Finally, this what I need. After mid-exams and get beaten so much that I reflect back on my worth as a human being... (Yeah, a little late to me realize that but that's okayy ) Anyway, thanks you for this reality check and real advice without sugarcoated it (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) Now, i am gonna make new approach and beat final Exams end this semester (^∇^)ノ♪ May God bless All
I’m just using Microsoft Word, the graphing app included with the Macintosh, sketchbook, and Wolfram Alpha. If you tell me which part you’re talking about, I can include a lesson library to show you how to use it. Likely you already have access to all of it free
@@authorjond thanks ill try that out. ive been using microsoft onenote but i have trouble with having to handwrite every single formula with my mouse because i dont have a drawing pen like most do using it on their ipad
Excuse me I have a quick question when writing down an example should I try to solve it using pencil on paper or computer? Btw thank you for providing this video
Love these small channels, they give real advice instead of the general sugarcoated shit

Be careful with quotes. Just because something has a good ring to it doesn’t mean it has an ounce of truth to it.

thanks. i hope this video will help me as an incoming engineering student
Just be 2-3 chapters ahead of each course from the get go, and you’ll do 10x better with 10x less effort. Stress free degree!
