Hello count-y boi here agian! Jimmy used the word "easy" 19 times in this video That is 0.95 uses per min of driving! This counts the use of the word easy both as a stand alone and as part of a phrase, not counting other words that are synonymous with easy Now plz pin me daddy!
It used to have VR support, however it was removed because it wasn't implemented well and the devs wanted to focus their attention on the rest of the game. I think it is on the list of things to reimplement, but I don't think it is a high priority right now.
Step 1: get a net Step 2: go to the lake a fish Step 3: pull up hundreds of broken pick ups Step 4: fix and sell them making millions Step 5: marry the love of your life that suddenly showed up as you got millions what luck!
Yeah his tone of voice, when he said something along the lines of "actually edging, is rrrrrrreally gooood". I thought he was a perfect flower of innocence but that's been shattered now.
This is one of my favourite videos of yours. Blasting around a track is fantastic but this is a welcome slowing of the pace. Of course the crashing is very enjoyable too!! lol
I just tried this with the same truck. I could not for the life of me get past the narrow section after the dam near the beginning. I had to go with a Jeep mod to do it. This man is a frickin god.
8:33 well you see Generally speaking, the mechanism for generating the human voice can be subdivided into three parts; the lungs, the vocal folds within the larynx (voice box), and the articulators. The lungs, the "pump" must produce adequate airflow and air pressure to vibrate vocal folds. The vocal folds (vocal cords) then vibrate to use airflow from the lungs to create audible pulses that form the laryngeal sound source.[1] The muscles of the larynx adjust the length and tension of the vocal folds to ‘fine-tune’ pitch and tone. The articulators (the parts of the vocal tract above the larynx consisting of tongue, palate, cheek, lips, etc.) articulate and filter the sound emanating from the larynx and to some degree can interact with the laryngeal airflow to strengthen or weaken it as a sound source. The vocal folds, in combination with the articulators, are capable of producing highly intricate arrays of sound.[2][3][4] The tone of voice may be modulated to suggest emotions such as anger, surprise, fear, happiness or sadness. The human voice is used to express emotion,[5] and can also reveal the age and sex of the speaker.
@@leaninheavy higher wheel speed means lower torque though, the engine torque gets converted by the transmission (and diff but that one doesn't change). First gear will be close to 3 times the engine torque while 4 is usually close to 1 on 1. So going from one to 2 would be less torq wouldn't it?
"We're actually doing okay so far, i'm quite pleasantly surprised" *Proceeds to send the car a hundred feet down the edge of the cliff to a watery grave
In this setup it would be a fun idea with a mirrored view of you so that the wheel moves "the right way", so one can follow your steering easier. Great game and content!

Such a fun video, would love more challenges like this. There's just somethinf about you slowly realising you fucked up and watching your precious ride turn into a raisin
This video alone got me to buy beamng. Played this map immediately. BLESS YOU, JIMMY. Question: Why do you do so much of your off-roading in high-range? Or at least I've never noticed you going into 4-low.
I'd love to see a speedrun with a rally car, but going downhill. (downhill, but kept on the road instead of just jumping off the side of the cliff lol)
That map deservers an MMO version with tons of players climbing and being smashed by those who are falling from the top or lower edges. Wonder how much more of an achievement would climb to the top be.
Starts off watching video thinking "WTF is this?" Then moves to "boring... no, wait...". "Come on Jimmy... get up there son!" And finally... "Ahhh... he did it."
Always turn downhill if the car has already decided to go that way. The roof will do it whether your tires do or not, so might as well keep them vertical. Good advice for BeamNG and just driving in general!
yes it does beamg does everything for a example if you drive with your hood up your car will be less aerodynamic so the car gets slower, everything affects the car just like in real life
@@jdrok5026 Well the horse power equation contains the engine torque as a variable, doesn't it? so it's correct to say that a combustion engine at high altitudes outputs less power (or horsepower)
Jimmer boi for Christmas I’m getting the CSL elite club series, pedals, and the F1 wheel. Is this good or should I go all(ish) out. Also if you put it in Low mode it will help with traction
Not sure if you're aware Jimmy, but you are able to enable 'Low Range' on certain vehicles, including the D-Series you were using. This changes the ratio of the differentials to a much higher ratio, helping you when you need more grip if you're stuck, or for climbing steep slopes.
i wonder if you could setup track ir and have the 3rd person cam rotate around the car when you turn your head. doing offroading i often find myself grabbing the mouse to move the cam a bit so i can see where im going
Haven't watched yet but been wanting to watch someone do this since I first saw the map. Figured it would be downhill, but you're going uphill AND using a wheel and pedals? You're insane lol!
As someone who does a good bit of off roading in my Jeep Commander, I’ll share this little tidbit, which I’m sure most of you folks including JB will know; when off roading, speed is not your friend lol I know you are trying to do the climb as quick as possible, but for the steep sections and rocky stuff, you want to use as low a gear as you can, and the clutch is your friend!
Just recently discovered your channel and I gotta say, together with Alex from FailRace you are one of my most favourites UA-camrs. Come to think of it, you two together would make one hell of a live stream! :-D
Holy crap haven't laughed this hard in a while XD Also not sure if it's just me but at 11:34 the same clip plays twice. Not sure if it is cause my youtube runs worse than that pick up after its fallen off a cliff.
You’ve shifted 12 times without the need of a clutch, then magically idled the truck in first without the clutch in. Which leaves me wondering as to why you’re wearing OMP racing shoes for a video game?
what are car shoes? what do they do exactly other shoes dont? like dirtbike boots add protection and they allow you to drag your foot etc which normal shoes would hurt your feet and after 2 drags you'd be down to socks. they also stop your calf from being burnt by the engine. do car shoes have any uses?
like i know what they look like they kind of look like a slightly less padded version of motorbike ankle boots usually worn by casual riders who ride on the road im just wondering do they actual aid in driving a car?
also looks like hes using 2 different feet for accelerating and braking. i was always taught to use the same foot for both and keep the left foot for clutch only. even in an auto you should only use one foot for both. obviously driving irl is different but still i assumed you'd just drive as you would in real life as thats whats comfortable. clearly uses his left foot for braking and right for for accelerating in real life otherwise it'd just feel wrong while playing and naturally you'd switch back to using one foot for both
Imagine a cleat, it just gives you more of a “barefoot” feel for $300. Bit more narrow and thin to help switch between pedals. Pretty overkill for a video game if you ask me.
This was very entertaining... I loved the different views of the throttle, break, clutch, and steering.. Your setup makes me jealous. Do you have any feedback in the steering wheel? Also, were you using 4 wheel drive on this run? If not, you could have gotten a lot more traction if you did. ;).. And if u were using it, then ya, disregard. Lol can't wait for anther video like this.
I'd like to point out that, yes, you can make it so the manual transmission in the game is pretty much exactly like a real one, where you have to pay attention to how you shift to avoid grinding gears and burning clutches

Does Beam NG takes in account the fact that the higher you get the less oxygen there is, therefore you have less horsepower?
Klymahnn yes, air density is factored into engine power in BeamNG.drive, but with a supercharger you don't need to worry about thin air so much
