Anyone feel exhausted and annoyed by this story and its characters? Neyrelle in the base game leaving with the soulstone alone. Eru betraying us as soon as we have a victory. I know the prime evils are strong but like, we spent the whole DLC telling Eru how much Mephisto lies and then Eru just betrays us for him? Lorath nowhere to be found even though hes a great character.
Any logic and even avarage level script writing is nonexistent in bugzzard studios. Their games are all about shiny graphics and shiny colorful items. The soulstones of original Diablo games and previous game developers who actually cared were destroyed long ago. Now the age of dissapointment had come and whoever is willing to waste 60$ for such crap game is clearly prime evils servant.

That's what made it so special. This game lacks any bit of fear and anxiety of getting ready to face a prime evil and fight it. Lilith was literally good (compared to everyone else, i.e. Inaruis wanting to kill humans to return to heaven and primes who use humans as food). She wanted to make strong humanity and defeat prime evils. Yeah she killed some guys in process but it's grimdark world, there can't be victory without sacrifice.

The amount of missing shadows from light is insane .. I was testing the game for years before 2022 and the game was not this bad. 23:30 the quality of lions armor and its glitching with the fur reminds me games from 2005. Diablo without Diablo. Legally you got wizards of the coast owners of dungeons and dragons actually contesting to trademark that word to point other tabletop rpgs don’t use term Paladin. They use champion, herald, holy knight and so on as default name. So naming gotta be crusader but they can lean into more unique abilities the Paladin from d2 got. Plus with them leaning more into d3 mechanics might as well do crusader since ppl recognize it well.

New characters were literally irrelevant as hell, boss fights weren't even menacing and epic, final boss was literal dog sh*t it was just 70% dealing with mobs and waiting for dialogue to end so that he becomes vulnerable. Lastly, they made it a three part dlc which this was a part one. They're milking too much for the D4 storyline which was already supposedly done. I assume part 2 is where diablo returns and part 3 is where we finally defeat him like we always do.
I grew bored of this game but people moaning that the games named diablo spanish for devil and saying diablo isn't in it when there are loads of devil's in it alwasys highlights player stupidiy. The game title is a race you fight the race 🤷♂️🤷♂️
