It sounded like thunder and his eyes were like lightening. He never told me he loved me. He showed it. He was my angel. I miss that marine. He was a sweetheart. I got to get up and keep fighting.

Mickey lost his life to boxing. It was all he knew. In his own words, he was broken down. Bad reflexes and a hearing aid. But he still had heart and courage. Without Mickey, there would be no Rocky.
