The tree is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for the detailed lesson on the grasses. I struggle with bringing symmetry and balance, as you have in your tree leaves and branches. Are you doing this intuitively or is there some kind of unspoken rule that you are following? Like the rules of three, which makes things look more natural.

Thanks so much for doing these tutorials, Jennifer. I love watching them and your hands. You explain things so well! Would you tell us where you get the metal ring cutters? I'm in the states so I may not be able to get them, but all I have found here are made of plastic. And I won't go into my feelings about plastic!

@@jenniferclouston7545 Hi Jennifer. I have been Slow Stitching for several years now. My outlet is making textile books and teaching classes. Your book which I got earlier this year has added such a great new dimension to my books. My latest book is dedicated to learning new stitches from your book. I was a quilter, not an embroiderer. Now lots of the ladies in my classes are racing off to buy your book. Thank you from all of us for the inspiration.

Trained as a painter I always roam around ya lot when creating a work of art. Loved that you talked about creating a part of the work and get it to your satisfaction then work on the next part. I’m going to try that with my embroidery! Being present for the part where you are working, getting it to be satisfactory or beautiful, then move on! Will let you know how that process works for me. Thank you for making your snippets for you tube, I’m learning a lot!

good, I'll keep my eye on you. I am an artist and several years ago decided to stop making anything I can't carry, or need a truck to transport. You are so talented and I love seeing new (to me) techniques. the link below Is what I consider "advanced".. although Cecile's style is no where near mine I have picked up a lot from her. ua-cam.com/video/BcOE7ii86Yk/v-deo.htmlsi=7iKOMuZbeZT76LxA I have a more Mexican=-Aminah Robinson-Jane Chochran vibe going on.
