The tree is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for the detailed lesson on the grasses. I struggle with bringing symmetry and balance, as you have in your tree leaves and branches. Are you doing this intuitively or is there some kind of unspoken rule that you are following? Like the rules of three, which makes things look more natural.
Thanks so much for doing these tutorials, Jennifer. I love watching them and your hands. You explain things so well! Would you tell us where you get the metal ring cutters? I'm in the states so I may not be able to get them, but all I have found here are made of plastic. And I won't go into my feelings about plastic!
Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent with us. Living in the US, I figured I would never have the opportunity to study with you. What a joy to have these tutorial videos from you.😍🤩
@@jenniferclouston7545 Hi Jennifer. I have been Slow Stitching for several years now. My outlet is making textile books and teaching classes. Your book which I got earlier this year has added such a great new dimension to my books. My latest book is dedicated to learning new stitches from your book. I was a quilter, not an embroiderer. Now lots of the ladies in my classes are racing off to buy your book. Thank you from all of us for the inspiration.
Thank you Jennifer. For the video snippets Those grasses look amazing. It is really interesting to see/ hear how you work regarding stitches and the choice of tbread. You are helping me to think more out of the box with these.
AHA! The mystery of the twisted chain stitch revealed - the angle! Thanks so much, Jennifer - that has had me confused for a while......Great video, again!
Wonderful work I never plan any stitching but I think I will give it a try so I won’t be so disjointed. Thank you for all your videos they are wonderful to watch and learn from❤❤❤ loving the birds in the background ❤
Thank you so much for explaining the twisted chain I am going to have a go at them. You show the stitch very well and it’s easy to follow. Really enjoying your snippets . Keep making them please. Xxx
Jenny I do enjoy your snippets videos. You make me smile when you describe your stitches as unfortunate and sad when I think they deserve to all be beautiful. Thanks for the details instructions on twisted chain I appreciated seeing your approach as I have been struggling with that stitch lately.it is a real treat to hear your bird sounds in the background.fran in colorado.hsppy holidays.

Thank you, love the technique of the twisted chain! So glad you’re doing videos in YT! Love your Flower Embroidery book❤. Can’t wait for the project but, we’ll wait patiently.☺️
Trained as a painter I always roam around ya lot when creating a work of art. Loved that you talked about creating a part of the work and get it to your satisfaction then work on the next part. I’m going to try that with my embroidery! Being present for the part where you are working, getting it to be satisfactory or beautiful, then move on! Will let you know how that process works for me. Thank you for making your snippets for you tube, I’m learning a lot!
Hello Jennifer Love you work ! Really enjoy watching and learning about your process ! Dont stress too much about staying in the shot it,s all good after 10 years on here I still wonder of ! Big hugs Sonya
Just wanted you to know I am making a pumpkin garland as a "sampler" and using your book to help me with the stitches. I have 3 done. Just 6 more to go!😊
good, I'll keep my eye on you. I am an artist and several years ago decided to stop making anything I can't carry, or need a truck to transport. You are so talented and I love seeing new (to me) techniques. the link below Is what I consider "advanced".. although Cecile's style is no where near mine I have picked up a lot from her. ua-cam.com/video/BcOE7ii86Yk/v-deo.htmlsi=7iKOMuZbeZT76LxA I have a more Mexican=-Aminah Robinson-Jane Chochran vibe going on. Love how you placed the "background" grass, it really did add depth! Thanks for encouraging making our own work, not following a stamped pattern.
Thank you for your kind words. And yes, let’s stitch more intuitively and put our own “stamp” into our work!
