Sad to hear that this has since been demolished...I attended this school in the early 70s as an infant, before they moved us to the new Aldlyns (?) school...which, I believe, has also since been demolished... :-O
@@sueparker3474 Yes, whilst an extension to the Ramsey Grammar School West Building (the South Building) was built the old Auldyn Infants building became known as the North Building, accessed via a footbridge. This South Building opened in September 2007, the Old Auldyn Infants was then demolished. The Grammar School is not a Grammar School, in 1946 I believe it became the first fully comprehensive school in Britain.
@@amanksman9051 Interesting stuff and hard to believe that the Auldyn infants school building didn't last as long as the Albert Road building, even though I seem to recall it seemed all very modern at the time...😄
My dad used to go to that school, he said he got severely bullied :/
Sad to hear that. Bullying is a horrible experience.

I think the 1970s Auldyn Infants lasted about 30 years.
@@amanksman9051 Not very long then...I think I read somewhere that it was later used as part of the secondary/grammar school?
