Today I will be looking at the Wessex franchise, a franchise only lasting just shy of 5 years - but were Wessex trains any good and should they, perhaps, be deemed as a failure?

Wessex like great western lacked new stock to increase services. We still suffer this today

Did Wessex Trains also went all the way down to Cornwall at one point. I think that they did. Before they were taken over by First Great Western.
