I went with the six shot SSR for cross training purposes, reloads and everything else will feel the same for any other six shot revolver, and it is roughly the same footprint as a full size 1911 which I was already used to carrying. Glad you are enjoying yours. I like seeing wheelguns get the appreciation they deserve.
what holster will fit this version of the 686? Ive seen a holster for every 686 model but this one. Please let me know and do a video on holsters that work.

I personally would hunt whitetail with anything less than a .357 16" carbine. That adds another 400 ft/sec to the .357. Nice revolver!
