I always like seeing your photos as they always give me different angles that I can incorporate into my photography. I always love to go back to familiar places to see what differences I can find to photograph, but sometimes it gives me a comfort zone and I end up with the same shot. That makes me focus harder to get something different….hopefully! Thanks for another great video!!
Thanks Ari! I've been wondering why your photos work so well when they appear at first glance to break the so-called "rules." After a bit of over-analyzing, I see instead expert use of them. This has been enlightening and inspiring.
5:21 No … it makes perfect sense. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard it articulated, but I feel the same way. Tourist spots are both traps and opportunities.
It’s compliments rodinal as an alternative developer very well. It’s different in some ways (speed boost, smooth grain) but still similar in others. It’s also less harmful to our environment.
Approx. 10 seconds before it came to my mind: thanks nordic gods that is not summer...than it happened, full bloody Moon! Total eclipse....and my cat run away in pure horror on her face! Damn Fin....
Great video and gorgeous photos!
Thank you! Appreciated.
Nice! And so true: Revisiting places is always worth it, I find.
It is!! And it was! 🙂

Thank you, thank you! Very nice to hear. Yeah, sometimes retaking the same shot is also very rewarding!
Hey, Ari --another great video. I agree completely that the best photos of this type are made in locations that the photographer knows well.
Thanks thanks!
Finally some love to your hasselblad!thanks for sharing ari 🌻

Oh, wow. Thanks. Yeah, I think I'm not really a rule follower .....
It looks like you spent your time well! Who could ask more of a holiday? 😊

The photograph at 10:46 was for me. I wish that I had bought the SWC years back when I had the chance.
Thanks! Yeah, I was lucky I did. They are pretty pricey nowadays!
Just think, Ari, the polar swim is next.....LOL
Looking forward to it :-)
Nice.
@@Quotes_Etcetera thanks thanks.

Such a great trip!

Oh they are :-)
Very nice. I couldn’t help but notice your developer this time was Adox XT3 rather than the tried and true Rodinal.. looking great!

Thanks thanks. Yeah, XT3 and Rodinal are my go-tos.
@@mynewcolourexactly. Those are the reasons I use XT3 AND Rodinal.
Wow a full moon in daylight 😂
I truly apologize!
...blue in green...but...where is the green? ;.)) ...ok a little bit...Super pics!!

So you liked it? ;-)
So funny, the sound, yes, half of my enjoyment of photography is the “clunky mechanical” experience.
Isn't it. And how it feels in your hands!
As a lifelong Floridian I’m thinking that water had to be cold.
Oh it was not -- well over 20C / ...around 70 Fahrenheit ...
When I clicked on the video, I was not expecting to see your arse Ari, not bad though 8/10, the video was good too.
Ave have a tight arse!
You need to do some squats bro.
Yes, I do! 🙂
