Why would you put background music in this video? I'm trying to listen to the exhausts that you're comparing overtop of the non-copyright techno.
I have the 4' MBRP single exit catback on my 2014 3.5l ecoboost i love the way it sounds with the aggressive note it gets me compliments all the time.
MBRP 4' is one of the best sounding kits for an ecoboost for aggressive notes & won't break the bank on price as it's under or around $580-$600
That MBRP 4 inch sounded nice. I like that you can hear the turbos spool up.
All about the turb sounds
It drones like hell. 1800rpm and 2400rpm. Anything over 40 min trip is torture.
just installed a mbrp 3" installer series a week ago on a 3.5 EcoBoost, not the greatest at low rpm but in sport mode sounds pretty awesome
Get rid of the background music
2021 Tremor F150 here. Res delete. Magnaflow 1to2 muffler. Bigger tips. Sounds perfect. No drone.
I like my 4" MBRP single side exit. It sounds best at cold start.
The background music and peeling out while filming the exhaust just don’t make sense. Good video tho

@101327 It is the most powerful and quickest and fastest F150 engine available, stock vs stock, and even more so with just cheap simple mods like a tune. Might be time to adjust your perception of what sounds like what
You should do a combo video exhausts and BOVs! And please no music on sound clips of trucks please.
I find the stock sound nicer. Nice and smooth. I love my ecoboost and i acknowledge that it's not a v8 and i don't want it to sound like something it's not.
Sound like something its not, are you kidding. My2014, 3.5 eco ford f150 stock is a ball buster, shits and gets. it will not be stock next year and just a few mods that really will not effect the stock engine much is awesome. I cannot wait.
I couldn't agree any more any v6 sounds like garbage I have a 2015 3.5eco and I love the stock sound. 5 star makes a 4 inch exhaust that is quiet as stock with a nice whistle.

@@thelilshorty55 Trust me I am still shocked at what a v6 can do. It has it all, gas, power and most of all a very reliable motor. My 2014 has a flaw with timing chain issues usually goes out at 100,000 miles. Believe that that has been fixed 2015, 2016 model. My 2014 is pristine and do not even drive in the rain if have a choice. lol

A small displacement motor with an even firing order is what it is. You are never going to give it a deep throaty sound no matter what you do. If you want that deep throaty sound something with a V8, a cross plane crank, and an uneven firing order is what you need.
My truck has a borla exhaust from the previous owner. I absolutely hate it. Sounds like someone hooked an air compressor to a tuba.

Aside from sound what is the difference in HP gain?
Typically from a cat-back system, you will see a gain of a few hp, nothing crazy. The big gains from aftermarket exhausts come from the downpipe when you add one with either no catalytic converters, or a set of high flow cats.

There's plenty of HP gain. They just didn't talk about it, which is sad. Would be nice to know how much gain per system.

They sound like crap. My V6 Nissan Frontier sounded WAY better with a 40 series Flowmaster than my 3. 5 eco
