Hmm. We don't get much snow down here. My shed is like yours but it has a translucent panel down the center of the roof as a skylight. I've coated the roof with roof coating over the years but the skylight is in pretty sad shape. A new panel is not available from Sears.
Paint your floor with pva glue, it dries clear and will penetrate and seal the wood, so if water does get in the wood won't get damaged.

Shed should be caulked from the inside.
