Beautiful watch, especially the one with the green leather strap. Good classic size, and design. Love the Roman/Arabic numerals split dial too. Timex makes nice cool watches.
I have a collection of 1960&70’s Timex’s. I haven’t picked up a new one yet but I think I’m sold on this one. It has some character and I love that color. Thanks for the unboxing!
I mean you can definitely go wrong with a 200 dollar automatic watch especially since you can pick up a lot of Seiko 5's for under 100. It's especially shady Timex doesn't tell you the movement they used. But I still love the look of this watch I might pick it up thank you for this first look!
Seiko5s don't have hand winding, or applied indices (for numerals), or a domed crystal. Seiko5s are great deals but they are as bare bones as a watch can be. It's not a bad thing but your post seems to imply that you get nothng for the extra money which is blatantly false. There is also no California dial version as far as I know.
please Also do the review of the black dial Marlin , there are no videos of it in the WHOLE UA-cam . it's soo beautiful!! that it'll be my collection but can't figure it out which dial to buy😍😍
I don’t think they do. I’ve sold it so I can’t check for you. But I’m not finding lume pics of it online. Another thread I read said they were non-lumed.

I’ve been on the search for my first watch as an adult and after long contemplation, this video has helped me decide! Beautiful watch. Thank you.
Glad I could help! Timex is really stepping up their game! I wouldn’t be surprised if this sells out.
@@MountainStandardTime Do you think this would look good on a black strap?
@@thomas7336 Hard to say. I don’t have any black leather straps to visually compare it for you. Most of my watches have steel bracelets.

I would describe the dial color as salmon.
Id say the dial is champagne or salmon
Hard to find this in stock. Man
Interesting. The black is available, but there’s a reason why I fancied this one. So cool. None on eBay?
@@MountainStandardTime not one that has the California dial. I like the style of it. Hope it comes back on stock soon.
do the hands have lume on them?

it's 325$ here in canada, which is twice the price of the bambino 2. not worth it.
Thanks for the info JM. Does seem pricey in Canada. I should review a Bambino 2. Please sub if you haven't already. It helps out a lot.
Adjust for the exchange rate. Fairly comparable in USD or CAD terms.
Omg this is gonna look huge on my 6 inch wrist
I have good news for you: this watch comes in the classic 34mm sizing as well

That’s what she said.
