My God,what an extremely brave lad going on a roller coaster 8 times.I love the part of the video where he puts the double thumbs up and says:I'm enjoying this ride.
Awwwwwwww my first coaster ride was this batman ride too!!!!! It was three days ago and im 19 lmao.......el toro was the last ride i went on, after going on el toro i was scared as hell to go on any other ride
I love how you pointed out how awesome the ride is instead of saying things like "it's ok, you'll be ok." Most people don't realize that could be difference between the kid being terrified throughout the ride or loving it. Two thumbs up for being an awesome parent!
My bro at the age of 14, when he rides on a rollocoaster, he would put his head down the whole ride and says he enjoys it. How the fuck can you enjoy a ride when you aren't even fucking looking at how the ride goes.
This is so cute and so real!! like when we were kids and our own kids would first get on and be scared to death and after it ends we and they would say lets ride t again. This was a very enjoyable video. great job
Thank you for the best rollercoaster video with your child. It reminds me when I took my daughter on when she was that little. Same expresions ans same attitude. She loves them just like your son did after the first ride. Beautiful video!!!!
It's sweet that at first the father put a reassuring arm on the scared/ unsure boy and then at the end the kid seemed to be able to honestly enjoy the ride. That's a transformation!!
Father of the year. Seriously... Great job coaching him through it and preventing him from losing it. HE also did a GREAT job... Brave kid. When my kids grow up i will totally do that with them too. Thanks for the video, it was awesome.. The best part was seeing how happy you made your son. Cheers
What a great video, it put a big smile on my face and some tears may fell seeing a great father and son enjoying rollercoasters what a great memory you guys shared on UA-cam need more videos like this, thanks to both of you sharing a great moment in you life, best wishes to all.
Thanks Rickie for the kind words! Thanks for watching and sharing this video with other too! I will never forget this time with my son! It was so fun seeing him being so scared... too loving it!

I got tears in my eyes watching this! I long to take my son and daugher (twins) on a super coaster someday. I remember the day my brother shamed me into going on the "that time" tallest roller coaster, The Scream Machine, at Six Flags Over Georgia (that dates me). I was scared to death and ended up going on the coaster 6 times in a row. I was in 5th grade. Now I am an enthusiast who, at 50, still can't get enough roller coasters. Way to go! There is nothing like a roller coaster! I am inspired.
That's how it was for me when I was a kid. My sister and I would go on all these rides and I was scared out of my mind but I got over it quickly. He is a roller coaster junkie now! Lol.
I LOVE that roller coaster. It was even better before they put the break in the middle. This kids has some stones going on this coaster for his first coaster. AWESOME!!!!
I remember the excitement of finally being tall enough to ride my first roller coaster at Six Flags over Texas, although it wasn't the Titan. Back then, the Shockwave was the pretty much it for excitement. Well, that and Judge Roy Scream, those two old standbys. But the Titan? Wow! Now there's a first ride to remember.
its 2014 and I was his age when this was filmed but back then I was terrified of those rides up until a few weeks ago I was still afraid of the texas giant and the titan but now I love them all so my question to you is how old is he now
My first coaster was when I was about 10 and it was Goliath at magic mountain. I still remember crying all the way up it lol but I'm older now and I love roller coasters!
I say the BEST thing to do when going on an amusement park ride, and i mean ANY, is to be LOUD, like really have fun, i think its good to let off that nervousness in a way... Thats what this kid looked like he was doing, and he turned out fine!
I remember the first time I rode a rollercoaster with my dad. I was absolutely terrified and I was crying on the way up on the lift. The first drop was scary, but then I thought it was a fun ride and I rode it like 10 times in a row lol.
That is one brave kid. I'm almost 21 and still haven't hit a steel rollercoaster yet. Only ever been on Gwazi in Tampa and Twin Racers at Kings Island. I'll get the guts one day, but until then this kid is a champ in my eyes to ride something that huge.
Ahhhh... I remember my first roller coaster. The Timber Wolf at Worlds Of Fun in Kansas City Kansas/Missouri, That second when you go dropping down for the first tome in your life and almost pass out.
He is so cute. That's exactly how i was when i first started riding rollercoasters, and it's funny, Batman was my first ride too, now i can't get enough of the big coasters, congrats kid
ahhh i remember my first rollercoaster, the jackrabbit at kennywood. i'm going to kennywood tomorrow, and i'm going on the skyrocket for the first time, and i rode every other rollercoaster atleast twice.
Thanks for watching and sharing this video! So fun riding these rides at Six Flags in Texas! Wish they had those kind of rides here in Alaska where we live!
That moment when your son is tall enough to ride his first roller coaster with his dad is an amazing moment. The last time we went to Cedar point my son was finally over 48 inches tall, he had a blast with his father.
i love how he was starting to get scared and you just talked him through it and i guess calmed him down? i with i had that the first time i went on a roller coaster ^__^
My first rollercoaster was the Judge Roy Scream! I was 11! It had no loops and medium high drops! I loved it! But when I rid it yesterday, it wasn't as cool. My new favorites are the Titan and Batman!
Awesome! My son & I just got back from Six Flags, he finally rode the Titan this year. The difference in your son's attitude after riding a few times was hilarious! Then at the end of the video when he said "Let's ride it again!" I couldn't help but laugh.
Exactly what I would do. Take him on the biggest intimidating ride. Hold his hand and if he takes it. He can go on any ride. Job well done sir, well done.
You must have had a fantastic time. My first rollercoaster ride was nowhere near as big as that, and I was about the same age as him at the time. He's got some guts, I'm glad he liked it!
Elijah is 18 now! Time is flying by! I sure loved spending this great time with my son!
19 years old now!
This is definitely an amazing father son moment that he'll never forget ...thanks for sharing
It was so much fun! We had the best time!
My first upside down roller coaster was one at six flags, I didnt even know it had a loop. When i saw it ahead of me i was like......welll fuckkk...
I'm supposed to wake up in 6 hours to go to Thorpe park but I'm just watching loads of rollercoaster videos instead of sleeping
good pick for a 1st coaster
That's one brave kid... I could never do it once
Really? It's your kids first time and he goes on that???
My God,what an extremely brave lad going on a roller coaster 8 times.I love the part of the video where he puts the double thumbs up and says:I'm enjoying this ride.
That kid has more guts than me and he looks younger than me. If you see this comment, great job! You have more guts than me!!!!

Thanks Mke!
It's sweet that at first the father put a reassuring arm on the scared/ unsure boy and then at the end the kid seemed to be able to honestly enjoy the ride. That's a transformation!!
It was so great to see him go through the change! Best time ever with my Son!
Father of the year. Seriously...
Great job coaching him through it and preventing him from losing it.
HE also did a GREAT job... Brave kid.
When my kids grow up i will totally do that with them too.
Thanks for the video, it was awesome..
The best part was seeing how happy you made your son.
Cheers
I love how even though the kid is scared out of his mind he listens to his father and tries to enjoy the ride and puts his hands up
Kid....You have guts. God bless you and your father.
That's Jacob! My younger son is named Jacob! Great name!
He is 14 but almost 15 soon. Crazy how time goes by so fast! This really was a great time with my son. It is something I will always remember!

So adorable! What a brave little guy.
I got tears in my eyes watching this! I long to take my son and daugher (twins) on a super coaster someday. I've seen a lot of the kids first time on a roller coaster and you. You. you where the bravest. Bravo!!!
I was just at Six Flags Over Texas yesterday for my birthday!! I love it
WOW!! A kid after my own heart! After 8 rides he already knows the hand/breaking motion on the block and transfer brakes!! WAY TO GO!!
What a great dad. Holding his hand at first, encouraging him. Really cool.
My first roller coaster was on snow mountain I think it's in Disney I was just 7 or 8 :3.
I love seeing kids having a great time on coasters. I love rollercoasters and will always ride
If the kid is going on his first roller coaster I would make it less of a violent one.
So glad he conquered his fear. what a great dad and a great kid:) U guys did better than me!
You should take him to cedar point
Yep, he's hooked, just like I was when I rode my first one and, like him, you couldn't get me off it. Been hooked ever since.
why such an intense ride for his first time ever on a rollercoster
That's how it was for me when I was a kid. My sister and I would go on all these rides and I was scared out of my mind but I got over it quickly. He is a roller coaster junkie now! Lol.
how cute! how old is he now? 8 times really??? brave kid! :D
He just turn 18 this Summer! Can't believe how the years have passed by so fast!
Kids a trooper for his age, I was a bit more difficult to break in when I was a tot, lol But even with a heart condition these days I love Coasters.
i thought this was going to be sad but it was really cute lol
Great Father & Son moment. You must be a very proud Dad.
So cute good he overcame his fear I would die up there
I LOVE that roller coaster. It was even better before they put the break in the middle. This kids has some stones going on this coaster for his first coaster. AWESOME!!!!

No this roller coaster is not Goliath.. This is the Titan which is almost exactly the same to Goliath. I get them mixed too :)
Aww this is lovely :) You're a fantastic dad!
its 2014 and I was his age when this was filmed but back then I was terrified of those rides up until a few weeks ago I was still afraid of the texas giant and the titan but now I love them all so my question to you is how old is he now

LIL MAN HANDLED THAT LIKE A CHAMP FOR REAL. AND HE SKIPPED ABOUT 7 GRADES AHEAD BY PUTTING HIS HANDS UP A BIT. kudos
"HOW LONG IS THIS THING??!" Thats what she said xD
Elijah is a boy not a she! Now he is a man at 19 years old here in July 2016.
This, Ladies and gents, is how a coaster junkie is born!
I would never do this, the scariest ride or thing or whatever you want to call it was the tower of terror at Disney ,
My first coaster was when I was about 10 and it was Goliath at magic mountain. I still remember crying all the way up it lol but I'm older now and I love roller coasters!
Wow that's kid has balls
Titan was my first rollercoaster and it got me over my fear of heights.
My first ride was its a small world it was hella scary

My. He looks alright at the beginning but as the coaster gets faster be becomes more tense and kind of grits his teeth together.
Kid is much braver then me! Way to go little man!!
My first was the umm baby beast I think it's called at kings island
I say the BEST thing to do when going on an amusement park ride, and i mean ANY, is to be LOUD, like really have fun, i think its good to let off that nervousness in a way... Thats what this kid looked like he was doing, and he turned out fine!

I remember the first time I rode a rollercoaster with my dad. I was absolutely terrified and I was crying on the way up on the lift. The first drop was scary, but then I thought it was a fun ride and I rode it like 10 times in a row lol.

Great, now I miss roller coasters even more...can't wait for summer
hahaha! Best Dad ever! Reminds me of my mom who just took me on em and said THROW YOUR HANDS UP! She created a monster.
Oh my goodness, I'd have a heart attack I couldn't even handle the pirate ship one, you know that sways back and forth. (My Label* WIMP)
ooh the Texas giant in the background, I gotta say, Texas giant is my favorite roller coaster but the Titan is a close second. so much adrenaline *-*
the ride behind it is my favorite
The second roller coaster is called Goliath. We'll it is in California. In Cali it is the same exact as in Texas.
My first rollercoaster was the Judge Roy Scream! I was 11! It had no loops and medium high drops! I loved it! But when I rid it yesterday, it wasn't as cool. My new favorites are the Titan and Batman!
This kid is epic... I was a big baby my first time at six flags lol...
Awesome! My son & I just got back from Six Flags, he finally rode the Titan this year. The difference in your son's attitude after riding a few times was hilarious! Then at the end of the video when he said "Let's ride it again!" I couldn't help but laugh.

You must have had a fantastic time. My first rollercoaster ride was nowhere near as big as that, and I was about the same age as him at the time. He's got some guts, I'm glad he liked it!
