Back then I only paid like 10 more USD but it was juuust because I asked the store to give me a helping hand on getting it, nowadays after 2 years since I was forced to sell my Mini, I got it back around the same price I got it day one (this time with the European Model), and modding the mini has aged well overall, same for the NES Mini... which I also recently recovered due to the same reason I had to give up my SNES Mini back then.
I don't care if it's illegal i paid 85 dollars for games the put on it digitally, also there is tons of free space they didn't use because fuck us right. For that amount of money they could have easily put a ton of classic games on it.
Just put all of these ROM's on an SD/microSD cart and use a device called "FXPAK Pro". Link: krikzz.com/store/home/54-fxpak-pro.html Alternative resellers: sd2snes.de/blog/shop-list Latest firmware: sd2snes.de/blog/downloads In case certain games don't work, like "Pilotwings" or "Super Mario Kart", read the FAQ and follow the instructions carefully. FAQ: sd2snes.de/blog/faq The device also supports lots of cool stuff, like Savestates, Cheatcodes and MSU-1. MSU-1 Audio: m.ua-cam.com/video/EqXYPvhHMCo/v-deo.html MSU-1 Video/Audio: m.ua-cam.com/video/yULkopwR8oA/v-deo.html Cheatcodes: m.ua-cam.com/video/k2FXnS5Qtiw/v-deo.html Savestates: www.retrorgb.com/sd2snes-fxpak-unofficial-firmware-update-1-10-3.html All of these worked on the SD2SNES, which came out before the FXPAK Pro. Both devices are made by the same developer and the FXPAK Pro has even more power than the SD2SNES. It costs a lot of money, but it's well worth it and everything that worked with the SD2SNES also works with the FXPAK Pro. Not only can you play ROM's and ROM hacks on real hardware with this, but Satellaview and Super Gameboy also work. Satellaview: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satellaview Super Gameboy: www.retrorgb.com/fxpak-super-game-boy-support-updated-once-again.html Not to mention third-party support, like "UltraNet" and "CrowdControl". UltraNet: www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=28578.0 CrowdControl: krikzz.com/forum/index.php?topic=8276.0 I also suggest that, should you be interested in the device, playing on an original SNES system is recommended, as clone consoles like the Super NT are prone to error with the device. The inventor of the SD2SNES and FXPAK Pro, "Ikari", said, that the Super NT has a strange booting behaviour, which is why the device doesn't work correctly on the clone console, whereas it works totally fine with an original SNES system. Source: krikzz.com/forum/index.php?topic=9696.msg73642#msg73642 It's a lot of money you'd need to spend on this thing, but it is money well spent. Its so funny when people complain about downloading roms been illegal and you should own the cart and other bullshit. I am onto emulators and roms 20 years now with no problems, just download them and enjoy life kids,Nintendo and Sega are laughing when you live in fear.
Yep. These "intellectual properties" used to have around a 20 year limit before they lost all rights and became public domain. Companies pushed to extend that (out of greed) and law makers folded to the will of big companies (shocker). Long story short, don't feel bad for downloading roms of 30 year old games.
Am I the only one that feels like if Nintendo didn't know we were going to do this and are just low key telling us "Its fine we know your going to emulate anyway so here, buy this thing from us and we will call it even" than they wouldn't have put a usb on this thing and they wouldn't have released it with enough memory to hold more than 10 times its retail contents. They aren't going to come out and say its ok but if I were a judge in this case I might be like "I mean....look at what you were wearing Nintendo...you were kind of asking for it weren't you?"
Thanks to another commenter who asks the author to learn how to pronounce 実況おしゃべりパロディウス, a quick google search came up with "Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius (Japan)"
What was the game where you had the little guys and you had to mine into the earth? I think you had to build a colony or something and you had all the workers. Appreciated if anyone knows what the hell im talking about lol
I am so upset you missed a few absolutely WONDERFUL games... Sekien Densetsu 3, A.K.A Secret of Mana 2. I dont think i need to say anything else, it is a sequel to one of the best RPGs on the system, already included in it. SaGa, a not-so-well-known series that started on the Gameboy as Final Fantasy Legend here in the states, got two games here... Tales of Phantasia, the first game in the Tales series (Most notable titles being Symphonia, Vesperia, and Xillia) was first released. And it got the greatest line in fan translation history..."I bet Arche fucks like a tiger". There's also the BS (Broadcast Satellaview) Zelda games, remixes of both the original Zelda and A Link To The Past, with the ability to play as either a boy or a girl. Their original formats dont exist anymore, and you cant get the live-radio voiceacting, but romhackers have done a wonderful job making these games playable to the general public. There's also Super Famicom Wars, the prequel to Advance Wars released on the BS system addon. It's a wonderful little romp. There's also the Lufia series, Breath of Fire, Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia, Tetris Attack, amd ActRaiser... The SNES is an amazing system, huh?
I only watched this video for as long as I did (that is to say, I watched the whole thing) because I was curious about if you put -the best game of all time- Tiny Toons: Buster Busts Loose on this list, or even ANY of the Tiny Toons games for SNES. Well... you've managed to satisfy that part of me.
Spider-man & Venom: Maximum Carnage Earthworm Jim Harvest Moon Wild Guns If these are already on there or I missed you saying them please disregard it.
Some guy I dont know broke into my house and put a bunch of these on my snes classic. I dont know how to undo it but I do love me some Lost Vikings, I didnt even know about the sequel.
Chaos Seed, Neugier, Treasure Hunter G, Treasure of the Rudras, Romancing Saga 3, Energy Breaker, Alcahest, Der Langrisser, Front Mission Gun Hazard, Super Famicom Wars
Some others to mention would be Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia, Secret of Mana 2, The Firemen, Breath of Fire 1 & 2, Lufia series, lots of shooters Space Megaforce I think is one I really like.
If you want an unusual RPG, try Dark Law: Meaning of Death. A translation patch is readily available with a google search. Definitely a neat gem. For a more Zelda like game try Marvelous: Mouhitotsu no Takarajima, also has a translation patch available. Or if you like guns and Zelda, Gunman's Proof is pretty neat.
You really need Spriggen Powered on there. Never released in the States but you don't have to worry about it all beging in Japanese since what little dialogue you see is actually in English.
Final Fight 3, Batman Returns, Death and Return of Superman, Adventures of Batman & Robin, Maximum Carnage, Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, Turtles in time, Turtles Tournament Fighters, Justice League Task Force, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Killer Instinct, Return of Double Dragon (japan version) Fatal Fury Special, Terranigma (ntsc patch) for the pal version, BS Zelda Mottzilla version, Spawn, Demon's Crest, Rushing Beat series 3 games total etc 😊
Harley's Humongous Adventure (side scroller) - Science kid genius in cool sunglasses accidentally shrinks himself and must face-off against his mutated labrat - The rat upgrades his body parts as they get blown off - Harley uses everything around the house as a weapon: tacks, nails, rubber bands, marbles, etc. - You gotta use suctions cups, a toy tank, ride bubbles, a jetpack, army man parachute, and bug spray is the temporary invincibility power-up - Enemies include flies, ants, fire ants, electrics eels, snapping binders, sentient staple removers, time and a f-ckton more. - Levels: the lab, kitchen, closet, toy room, bathroom, ventilation system, library, powerlines, and more
Aside from your list the following are a great addition to the stock games on the classic that shouldn't be disregarded. From the rpg scene you can add star ocean, terranigma, robotrek, dragon view, equinox, tales of phantasia, trasure of the rudras, dark law, bahamut lagoon, chaos seed, live a live, record of lodoss war, alcahest, romancing saga 1-3, secret of mana 2, treasure hunter g, ys 4 & 5. Not obscure but a must - Chrono Trigger, lufia 1-2, breath of fire 1-2, illusion of gaia, 7th saga Other notable non rpgs, do re mi fantasy, magical pop'n, space megaforce, rendering ranger, zero the kamikaze squirrel, great circus starring mickey mouse, fire power 2000, incantation, prehistorik man, run saber, sparkster, super ninja boy, super valis iv, Not obscure but a must - donkey kong country 2-3, killer instinct, umk3, megaman x2-3 & 7, axelay, super adventure island 2, turtles in time, top gear 1-3, un squadron, x-men mutant apocalypse, final fight 3,
Chris Beach all the games in the list are worthwhile at least to try, equinox may no be for everyone but i has an isometric view like mario rpg and most of the rpgs in the list are japan exclusive however they got fan translation which is a blessing since there was no other way to be played unless you know Japanese. I have played all these games if you want to find out more about them just do a quick youtube search with their names and snes at the end. You will find some interesting ones and nice graphics to go along.
Chris Beach yeah lol. I mean everyone has heard about star ocean, tales of phantasia and terranigma but there are more good rpgs that never saw daylight outside japan which is a shame. Equinox got a usa release at least.
A few suggestions: Twinbee Rainbow Bell Adventures, Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium. Sailor Moon another Story, Gundam Wing Endless Duel, and Magical Pop'n.
Definitely put Umihara Kawase on there! You don't need a translation; it's a wire platformer and you play as a chibi 17yo girl who can Spiderman around with her bag of fishing wire.
A great Japanese game that has been English patched you should check out is "Gunpuru: Gunman's Proof" it's like Zelda but you play as a dumpy cowboy kid with a gun. I've been playing the hell out of it recently.
I don't know how obscure it is, but I've been enjoying Star Ocean which fills in your Japanese RPG translated into English request. And the opening scene has English voice acting, which is cool (if a little hard to understand)

Seiken Densetsu 1 = Final Fantasy Adventure on Gameboy.
Seiken Densetsu 2 = Secret of Mana 1 on SNES
Seiken Densetsu 3 = Secret of Mana 2 on SNES
Seiken Densetsu 4 = Legend of Mana on the PS1.
Yeah. I know. Japanese numbering and western numbering gets shit mixed up. Same with the Final Fantasy games.
Inquisitor Christopher on gb they called it final fantasy just to sell better. It was always supposed to be secret of mana 1
Inquisitor Christopher actualy seiken densetsu 4 is dawn of mana on ps2
Bajolzas - wierd.....

Let me know what y’all think about it.
I feel like you're missing some key titles still, but overall a solid list. I got most of these classic titles installed on my classic system as well.
Only one of the Parodius games? No Blackthorne? Actraiser? Magic Sword? Any of the R-Types?
Back then I only paid like 10 more USD but it was juuust because I asked the store to give me a helping hand on getting it, nowadays after 2 years since I was forced to sell my Mini, I got it back around the same price I got it day one (this time with the European Model), and modding the mini has aged well overall, same for the NES Mini... which I also recently recovered due to the same reason I had to give up my SNES Mini back then.
Made me chuckle a few times. Liked and Subbed :)
Thanks!
8:25 is basicly like secret of mana, not zelda. the scene looks like the scene who shot the team with a canon in the air in secret of mana

Latest firmware:

In case certain games don't work, like "Pilotwings" or "Super Mario Kart", read the FAQ and follow the instructions carefully.

The device also supports lots of cool stuff, like Savestates, Cheatcodes and MSU-1.

All of these worked on the SD2SNES, which came out before the FXPAK Pro.
Satellaview:

Super Gameboy:

Not to mention third-party support, like "UltraNet" and "CrowdControl".

CrowdControl:

I also suggest that, should you be interested in the device, playing on an original SNES system is recommended, as clone consoles like the Super NT are prone to error with the device.
The inventor of the SD2SNES and FXPAK Pro, "Ikari", said, that the Super NT has a strange booting behaviour, which is why the device doesn't work correctly on the clone console, whereas it works totally fine with an original SNES system.

It's a lot of money you'd need to spend on this thing, but it is money well spent.
Unlike the SNES Mini, which emulates SNES games terribly and even has issues emulating one of the pre-installed games, among other emulation quirks.

1:24 how do I google this?
Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius
That "with the knights and shit" was a very compelling argument. Subscribed
And Knights of the Round....OMG, I rented this game so many times I probably should have bought it. Right up there with Rock N Roll Racing.
+Vasileios
I'm only upset when they're current gen. I don't mind if people download SNES roms.
Nyah Senai
What?
Exactly. These multi-billion dollar companies aren’t going to hurt when we download a few ROMs from games made 30 years ago.
+Bloody Persistent
Yeah, not to mention that there are still good ROM sites. Just don't go for fast download links.
Hello, I do have question. Can you also install these games at nes classic mini edition? Please reply thanks
Mystery Dungeon Shiren The Wanderer is also a pure gem for this console, I finished it twice and gosh i spend a lot of hours into this game :')
Which is the last game shown? I mean, the one after Spike McFang that looks like a japanese point&click or RPG.
Weren’t only Dragon Quest 5 & 6 for super famicom? 1-4 were for famicom?
They remade them for the Super. 1&2 where on one cart and 3 was on another
I can't put Goof Troop on my SNES Classic. It crashes every time I play it.
when he said tokyo mirage sessions was one of his favorite games my name appeared in an obituary due to a heart attack caused by shock
It's only illegal if you get caught! lol
But in all seriousness, Ninja Warriors, and the Pocky & Rocky games.
Ninja Warriors, best beat em up on console. Alot of hidden combat mechanics
I got caught and beat up by Miyamoto himself
Just thought of another one, Blackthorne.
it also legal if you actually own the real games themselves
Am I the only one that feels like if Nintendo didn't know we were going to do this and are just low key telling us "Its fine we know your going to emulate anyway so here, buy this thing from us and we will call it even" than they wouldn't have put a usb on this thing and they wouldn't have released it with enough memory to hold more than 10 times its retail contents. They aren't going to come out and say its ok but if I were a judge in this case I might be like "I mean....look at what you were wearing Nintendo...you were kind of asking for it weren't you?"
Jail breaking his own console as I play animal crossing pocket camp illegally...
RuinedBlackCat we're both going to hell then
What was the second game? If you can't pronounce it, i certain it can't find it!
Appreciated if anyone knows what the hell im talking about lol
is korin from dragonball in the second game?
you need ogre battle hard type if you can find it and tactics ogre but translated, top speed also
I am so upset you missed a few absolutely WONDERFUL games...
There's so many great ones I missed. Can't believe I left Secret of Mana 2 off though.
Terranigma is a great game that was never released over her in the states.
Saw a couple of games I didn’t already have, thanks!
Glad I could help!
0:08 lol 😂😂
Okay what’s the name of that game with the cat #2 in the video
how do you get 300 on it . i am out of space at about 180
Do you use fan hacks? I don't think I have 300 on mine
Live-A-Live = THE Best Obscure SNES RPG
wow.. legit list.. i was wondering if you were going to include Tiny Toons, nice
Thanks for introducing me to Jikkyo Oshaberi Parodius (#2 on the list). This looks freaking amazing!
Spider-man & Venom: Maximum Carnage
Earthworm Jim
Harvest Moon
Wild Guns
If these are already on there or I missed you saying them please disregard it.
This is a good list.
I had a Goof Troop
Some guy I dont know broke into my house and put a bunch of these on my snes classic. I dont know how to undo it but I do love me some Lost Vikings, I didnt even know about the sequel.
Chaos Seed, Neugier, Treasure Hunter G, Treasure of the Rudras, Romancing Saga 3, Energy Breaker, Alcahest, Der Langrisser, Front Mission Gun Hazard, Super Famicom Wars
Some others to mention would be Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia, Secret of Mana 2, The Firemen, Breath of Fire 1 & 2, Lufia series, lots of shooters Space Megaforce I think is one I really like.
lupin 3rd.!! holy shit. yes! I didn't know that existed. thank u for this video
those memes LOL
How about a list of Sega Genesis games to add to the SNES classic?
No shit, someone who knows about Buster Busts Loose AND Lost Vikings? WOW!! I used to own both of those games when I was a kid.
I can't think of 32 games I need on the 64, gamecube, wii, wii U and switch combined.
Harley's Humongous Adventure (side scroller)
- Science kid genius in cool sunglasses accidentally shrinks himself and must face-off against his mutated labrat
- The rat upgrades his body parts as they get blown off
- Harley uses everything around the house as a weapon: tacks, nails, rubber bands, marbles, etc.
- You gotta use suctions cups, a toy tank, ride bubbles, a jetpack, army man parachute, and bug spray is the temporary invincibility power-up
- Enemies include flies, ants, fire ants, electrics eels, snapping binders, sentient staple removers, time and a f-ckton more.
- Levels: the lab, kitchen, closet, toy room, bathroom, ventilation system, library, powerlines, and more
does anyone know what website to go on besides emuparadise?
Vimm’s Lair.
What is the name of the second? Thanks
Chrono trigger boss theme
Spark Mandrill in the back ground?
Don’t forget Actraiser!
What is the second game? looks very cool
Older vid, but you forgot Clock Tower! Definitely check it out..and for everyone talking about emuparadise, nope, it's gone now
Vimm’s Lair is the place to go now. Get them while you can.
Oh gosh, my sister and I played Goof Troop so much! I miss those two player team player games.
And Tiny Toons!
Not obscure but a must - Chrono Trigger, lufia 1-2, breath of fire 1-2, illusion of gaia, 7th saga
Other notable non rpgs, do re mi fantasy, magical pop'n, space megaforce, rendering ranger, zero the kamikaze squirrel, great circus starring mickey mouse, fire power 2000, incantation, prehistorik man, run saber, sparkster, super ninja boy, super valis iv,
Not obscure but a must - donkey kong country 2-3, killer instinct, umk3, megaman x2-3 & 7, axelay, super adventure island 2, turtles in time, top gear 1-3, un squadron, x-men mutant apocalypse, final fight 3,
Alejandro Cabral never heard of equinex or dark law? They worth playing? Terranigma is my fav game of all time(;
Also record of lodost war.. and alcheist? Good games?
Chris Beach all the games in the list are worthwhile at least to try, equinox may no be for everyone but i has an isometric view like mario rpg and most of the rpgs in the list are japan exclusive however they got fan translation which is a blessing since there was no other way to be played unless you know Japanese. I have played all these games if you want to find out more about them just do a quick youtube search with their names and snes at the end. You will find some interesting ones and nice graphics to go along.
Alejandro Cabral I have heard, or played all the games u listed, besides them 4 but yea it wud be easier to just UA-cam them lol
Paul S --- Endless Duel is great. There's also an SD Gundam platform game with chibi characters.
"Has my babies daddy on the box art"... THAT WOULD BE YOU, CAM
Just download a bunch of games based off this list. Thanks for the advice friend
You also need Pre-VC games on your SNES Classic.
i like these kind of videos
Jaki Crush, Bahamut Lagoon, Majuu Ou king of demons, Great Battle 4, Rendering Ranger, Operation Logic Bomb, dragon view, brawl brothers
I heard Jaki Crush was the worst of the Crush Pinball games.
"...has my babies daddy on the box art". Lmao!
I played goofy troop with a friend of mine when I was a child, it was great fun, man great memories
It's funny, I did a list and we agree on like 20 of the games here.
"You star off as this moderately attractive a@#hole..." *I* almost sh*t the rug at that one...
He found the Dragon Quest games while he was talking at 1:30
Didn't need to include some prison violence in your SNES video did you? It helped me remember playing old snes games.
People should request fugamecru for the next relaxalax highlight
Super adventure island 2 is an amazing hidden gem.
Is Goof Troop underrated? I remember everybody loving that shit when I was a kid.
