This piece is actually my favorite Bach's piece. The first movimment is so deep but joyful. A really travel in fantasie. Love you Gerubach, you're a hero, really
An absolute gem from Bach, and the perfect scrolling score is mesmerizing, as your eyes trail your ears. What a beautiful performance also, and wonderful audio. The standards on this channel are extremely high, and much appreciatedly so.
I can't believe it's been ten years, but I looked back at the Chaconne and Gerubach really has been providing this service to us all for so long that some people who grew up listening to it are now adults. The most time consuming way and tricky of trying to present music, anyone stumbling here now must be wondering how this ludicrous treasure trove hasn't attracted so much more attention.
You don't know how happy i was when i saw this notification months ago. You're a hero bro, i have listen to this chanel in the last years and is my favorite chanel on youtube
JS Bach would’ve still considered composing music after a possible break in between for the COVID-19 Virus just as did same with the GeruBach UA-cam Channel! It’s just because Bach is way too precious in this way, he always comes back without giving us up!
The last movement of ths piece was quite brilliantly re-orchestrated by Alissa Firsova, and played at the 2010 BBC Proms: ua-cam.com/video/0iQ_Pp-2ABg/v-deo.html

Thank you @gerubach. Your videos are a relief in this pandemic situation.
Have performers or record companies tried to remove your videos?
@@nakdag1617 i want to say it has happened. i dont think the performer would really be upset. i think the record companies legal department would.
It's actually incredible how everything Bach ever wrote is a Masterpiece.
True master in his time, I agree.
But we don’t know how much sub-par material he threw away!
@@johngilbertnxxs If you think everything Bach ever wrote was a masterpiece, then we’re not in the same place to be able to have that conversation.
@@johngilbertnxxs So many to choose from really. Vivaldi, Bach, list goes on and on. But Bach is definitely a heart pleaser, never fails.
the dude wrote a cantata each week. He did not have the time to write poor stuff
I thought this was an old video until I saw it was just 14 minutes ago
Man, I've been binge-watching these during my study times, perfect.
same!!

I was abstaining from music but this piece attracted me again

I like organ and harpsichord very much. Thank you for allowing me to check the sheet music and listen to it.
Thanks for the upload and the magnificent work you do,as always
Simply fascinating! What great Gerubach content!
Thanks! Fantastique! And special thanks for the score scrolling arrangement!
Thank you so much man, I learned alot by your videos:)
Это нереальный космос. Фантастически красиво.
Glorious, and greatly enhanced with the score to follow each line. Thank you
Smashing stuff. A superb exercise in counterpoint that’s so much fun to play or follow or listen to. Lovely rendition
You're a hero for making these videos. I've spent hours playing along with them
Probably thousands of hours for me... ^
@@Nooticus exactly! I used to bring friends in and see who could keep up the longest
Thanks for uploading!
A little bit more Italian than usual. Great as always!

Muchas gracias don Gerubach
I feel like these are underappreciated just because the solo suites are SO good
Lovely! The way you present the score is wonderfully elegant and clear. I can tell you must put a good deal of trouble into it!
Excellent, excellent, excellent, ascending me to the heavens!, synthesized by a god.
Thanks a lot !!!!
Thank you!
I LOVE YOU MAN

Weird. When focusing on the red barline everything is smooth however when focusing on the score itself everything becomes blurry, weird.
RIP GERUBACH
Thx
What happened to the "B" in the title?
I think he was in a bit of a hurry.
Thank you. The error has been corrected.
Formidable
1st mvt g minor Bach’s visits to Eb major the submediant (for longer periods than the relative major) are notable.
This sounds a lot like Brandenburg concerto 3 in the first movement.
Anyone knows where I can find the viola part only of this piece?
What does the red notes mean? Amazing work as always, Gerubach
The red notes seem to be variations from the score by the performers.
Those trills sound really nice on the da Gamba s/o the player
They’re just so soft and subtle. I love em

Not WV lol
Typo? BWV
Thank you. The error has been corrected.
Name just one Bach composition that isn't remarkable in any way, shape or form. I'll wait.
