    I recently did this for my camper countertop. I painted it black, then used the epoxy mixed with some iridescent glitter and a small amount of purple glitter. I followed the directions from your video and the countertop turned out AMAZING! It was also very simple. THANK YOU! 👍🏾

    Would you consider making sample sized kits? I want to try out a few different recipes without having to invest hundreds up front. Something in the $20 range, enough to make a 2x1 sample will be great! Objective is to make three maybe four samples with different background colors, metallic etc before deciding.

    • @StoneCoatCountertops
      @StoneCoatCountertops  5 років тому +5

      Great question Johnny! Stone Coat Countertop epoxy is much more scratch resistant than other epoxies, but it can scratch. Scratches usually happen from objects that are rough or sharp, or from new epoxy finishes. Small scratches are easily polished out using Meguiar’s 105 or other automotive compounds. Usually, you can take a rag and some compound and polish out a scratch quickly. If the ratio when you mixed was correct and the temperature was not below 65 degrees Fahrenheit, you should have a top with normal durability. Please feel free to contact us anytime with questions or for project support. (541)450-1976

    How does this stuff hold up under conditions of use? Scratches, dings, knife marks, etc?

    • @StoneCoatCountertops
      @StoneCoatCountertops  5 років тому +7

      Great question Pteromandias. Stone Coat Countertop epoxy is durable. You can set hot pots and pans directly on the surface; however, just as any countertop surface, we suggest you still use hot pads, as it's nonporous and food safe. You can clean with normal household countertop cleaners, but soap and water generally does the trick. Not much will damage the surface as far as spills and stains, but it's good to clean up spills after you're finished cooking and using your tops to prep. It takes three days for light use, seven days for cure and thirty days to a full cure where our durability video tests are shown at. Here is a link to our durability video showing what Stone Coat Countertops can take, we have tested up to 475 degrees fahrenheit: ua-cam.com/video/YLUteivXWaM/v-deo.html Thank you and feel free to contact us anytime withh questions or for project support. Hi .This is my first video viewing. I'm very impressed with this step by step process in epoxy technology. It's got my attention! By myself that would take me a year to just accompish an entire countertops setting. I'm willing to learn this. I thank you. ☺

    I so wish I could do this & could afford to do this. My kitchen desperately needs new countertops. These are more than 50yrs old, but I don't have the health, the equipment, expertise, or the money to make new ones. These are absolutely beautiful!

      Hi!!! Yes, almost... I want the black, but copper and/or bronze “flecks” but a lot less of the flecks... we will be buying our products from you & are hoping to be doing the job in the next few months (real busy at the moment) we would love to phone, we have a few questions to ask. You do not know how much your product is going to mean to us. We were originally going the concrete route (but it wasn’t my fav, this I love 💕) We are soooo excited to try it out!!! Thank you again!!! 😃

    I'm looking at several different kits to add to use for my painting business. Does the epoxy in your kits yellow over time and what is the dry time before the homeowner can have their kitchen back? Thanks!

    Love your work. I have an outdoor granite countertop that I would like to replace/refinish. Would resin resist South Florida heat, 90° F for most of the year, direct sun?
