16) a) Design a concrete mix by BIS method with the following data :
i. Characteristics compressive strength = 35N/mm2
ii. Maximum size of aggregate = 20mm (angular)
iii. Fine aggregates confirm to grading zone II
iv. Workability = 75mm slump
v. Degree of quality control = Good,
vi. Type of exposure = Mild (Plain Concrete)
vii. Specific gravity of cement = 3.14
viii. Specific gravity of fine aggregate = 2.58
ix. Water absorption (i) Coarse aggregate = 1.9%
(ii) Fine aggregate
x. Water cement ratio = 0.48
Assume any other data if necessary. Also calculate the quantity of cement, sand, coarse aggregate and
water required per cubic metre of concrete.

In calculation you considered 20mm aggregate only and in final proportion you introduced 10mm aggregate also...will it not change all the considerations of entrapped air, Cement content, C.A to F.A ratio etc ??

Exposure se related thoda concern hai kyon ki Her exposure ke sath Grade of concrete bhi diya hua hai jaise....Moderate ke Liye M25 & Free W/R 0.5 Maximum Fix hai to kya main is exposure ke Liye M20 se Lekar M55 tak ka concrete bana sakta hun ya sirf M25 hi ?

You have first require moisture content and sp. Gravity.. Without this you can not start your mix design..

Water absorption by CA = 1% and moisture content in FA=1.5%.Assume any suitable missing data.
What about the water absorption of sand and coarse aggregate. That water should be increased.

Grade concrete condition depend on u site conditions..... Defferent place ... different environmental conditions .....
Sir I saw the video and it is good but you tell me how will I find the ratio for m35 ( like m20 - 1:1.5:3).Any formula has for it? Please tell me or send me link.
The ratio of M35, design mix concrete is not fixed ,, because environmental conditions, water cement ratio , exposure conditions is different for different places, and different conditions..... First you calculate the trail mix concrete then test the concrete block find the compressive strength of concrete according to your condition of design mix .... Then you calculate the ratio of concrete ....

No.2:--> Absorption of All Aggregate nahi dala kyon ki 182 L. Of water ke baad summer season mein Aggregate full dry hota hai.
No.3:--> density Nahi nikala jo ki Akhiri mein nikalna chahiye tha halaki ye bahut hi easy hai per chapter close karne time sab cheez complete karna chahiye tha

Sir mjhe janna h ki apki calculations or data k according 1 cube mould fill krne k liye kitna material chahiye. vo kese calculate krna h
For example : vol.of cube x material kg/Cum. As per mix design
1 cube vol.=0.15x0.15x0.15= 0.0033Cum So
Example mix design: cement - 320kg/m3 or Cum
20mm - 765 kg/m3
12mm - 495 kg/m3
Sand - 750kg/m3
Admixture dosage - 0.6
Required materials for 1 Cube mould:
Cement = 0.0033x320= ?
Like 20mm = 0.0033x765=?
12mm= 0.0033x495=?
Sand = 0.0033x750=?
Admixture= 0.6x Cement Content= ?

Tolerant is fixed for 1.65 N/mm2 And Standard deviation is Also fixed 3.5 , 4 & 5 N/mm2 for different Grade of concrete

@@civilpositive805 yes but pattern was exactly match.. How it's possible? Even drawing is same to describe SSD Condition in sand.. I have not doubts in your knowledge.. But if you have good knowledge than make vidios of your own instead of copy.. You can make vidios for M40 - M50.
