If you own the land, house, well, septic, solar, water filtration, starlink, phones, laptops, tablets, game systems, chickens, talapia pond, garden, vehicles, motorbikes and its all paid off and you learn to watch everything for free with APK packages, then you can easily live well for 2 under $300 per month. The rest is all play money. You can literally pay for cell service for 1 day at a time and hot spot the other phone. No need paying for days when your around wifi. My motorbike gets 120 mpg and kie car 70 mpg. Vehicle insurance and registration is $20/year per Vehicle. You can spend $50 for a meal for 2 at a western franchise that sucks and nothing like what your expecting or less than $4 for 2 at a local BBQ karenderia. And have leftovers for a light lunch tomorrow. 90% of what I spend every month is improving the property and traveling and stuff I don't need but makes life easier, safer, funner.
@skariarecords i pay about $12 more a month then I did with PLDT fiber optic with 50mbps. They gave us 50mbps maybe 1 hr per month in the middle of the night. Otherwise, the rest of the month lucky to get 5mbps. It glitches for 2 seconds every 30 seconds. So every 30 seconds you get a message accross your screen saying back online. This would cause any connections you have to be lost everytime like mirroring or Bluetooth connections or wifi connections to things like CCTV. It would go off for several minutes every couple hours and off for hours every couple days and off for a day or 2 about 3 times a month. Over the years we upgraded 3 times and every time get less than 10% of what we paid for. With Starlink we initially got 80mbps and it rarely goes out and when it does it's only for a few minutes late at night when it's pouring rain. Now we consistently get around 230mbps. A couple times saw speeds of 350mbps. Supposedly in the near future the 350 speeds will be consistent and with the gen 2 system we have is going to eventually tap out at 1gbps. The router does suck though and it's an energy hog pulling 65 watts vs the mesh 6 system i re-routed it to that only needs 3 watts. The routers distance fades out around 30 ft and can only go about 10ft after only 1 concrete wall. The mesh router can penetrative 2 walls and about 50 ft. I currently have 4 satellites that cover most of the property and I can always add more as I continue to build our little mini compound here. Before we couldn't stream 1 device. Now we can have a dozen devices streaming and running multiple tabs with no issue. Definitely worth the extra $12/month. Also had to pay one time $75 for the ethernet adapter for the mesh system. Got lucky and bought it during a flash sale direct from their website for $330. A whole lot cheaper than the original $1500 for equipment and $150/month it cost when it 1st became available here. And they pushed the narrative hard that those prices would never come down. Telling a wise man that those prices would absolutely go down soon for the patient man.
@skariarecords most places that advertise 5G speeds are not actually getting 5G. It's a play on words. They just crank up the 4G to the slowest 5G and call it 5G "speeds." If there's no 5G antennas in your area, your not getting 5G. They've been advertising 5G speeds for 5 yrs here and just recently started putting up a few 5G antennas in the city. There are absolutely zero 5G antennas out here in the province. And we're only about 5 miles outside the outer edge of the metroplex. About 18 miles from the center of the city. Which is fine by me. Every single time I feel a tightness in my chest around my heart I can look and see I'm passing by a 5G antenna either during morning rush hour or evening rush hours. Never noticed it happen during other times of the day or night. Coincidence? 🤷♂️
To a Filipino 1000 dollars a month is rich. Especially if you live in the country/province. However if you want US standards that is not enough. You'll need 4 grand a month if you want to live like the US.
you can see what i am talking he is only talking about from his own point of view that he him self is not able to live like a king jsut on $1000 a month for the life style he wants to live. he even said as much by sayingin his opinion. for he is thinking about the life style he wants to live.like i said every one has a diffrent life styles. some may think my life style that i am living is like a living like a king and other will say i am barely living on $1000 a month. now can you live better in $2000 a month then $1000 a month daa i am not going to say no you can not for i am not that stupid like these two guys are in this video are. who is any one telling you how much money you need to live on in the philippines no one the only way to know for yoru self is to set on how much you like to live on each month and try to live on that much in your own country this way you will know how much you truly need to live on in the philippines. for how much you may need to live on will be completely different from what i need to live on. its like telling some one that make 10 million a year saying that you can not live on just on 1 million a year every one would know thats jsut bs fromt he guy making 10 million a year saying that. right.
Listen all: Living like a king depends on your own definition of what is like “living like a king” 1000 USD is tight I would say for a single guy you need at least 1500 USD per month. Here is the key thing to remember. Tinder dates, Happy balloons, wicked cigars, booze and “them ladies” will kill your budget and any budget for that matter. What I described above falls under “entertainment” and you must remember one truth: in South East Asia every night is Friday Night. You can party 7 days a week and start again on Monday. It’s truly a curse in South East Asia; the party never stops. You can have a great budget of 1800-2000 USD per month, trust me it will not be enough if you are a slave to “entertainment” and all its vices. In South East Asia you can get smashed on a daily basis. So it pays to be disciplined.
You cannot live there with less than $3000 dollars per month unless your not married or in a relationship with a Filipina lady, you have to feed her family, pay family bills, been there, I broke up because it just cost me too much money, now I stay single since my pension is only $4000 dollars per month.
That's not true at all... $1000 USD is around 57,000 pesos per month which is a decent middle class salary in the Philippines. Its not "premium homeless"... Plenty of YT channels showing people enjoying a nice life at that price point...
I thought that very same thing this morning with the coffee. It means a lot makes you think about all the small things they do for you. Why I do for her all I can.
If a Filipina calls you AFAM run the other way. It is NOT a positive term it means A Foreigner Assigned in Manila. It is in the same ballpark as the 4Ms.
with everything i have said i will tell you never listen to any youtuber channel that says you need at lest X amount of money to live in the philippines for you will know all thats coming out of there mouth is only BS.
My wife is my age, but I don't think older guys getting younger women is all about money. These young guys got no game. We actually had to work at it to seduce a girl. They do what they learned on prn videos or TikTok. It's not a fair fight.

you can see what i am talking he is only talking about from his own point of view that he him self is not able to live like a king jsut on $1000 a month for the life style he wants to live. he even said as much by sayingin his opinion. for he is thinking about the life style he wants to live.like i said every one has a diffrent life styles. some may think my life style that i am living is like a living like a king and other will say i am barely living on $1000 a month. now can you live better in $2000 a month then $1000 a month daa i am not going to say no you can not for i am not that stupid like these two guys are in this video are. who is any one telling you how much money you need to live on in the philippines no one the only way to know for yoru self is to set on how much you like to live on each month and try to live on that much in your own country this way you will know how much you truly need to live on in the philippines. for how much you may need to live on will be completely different from what i need to live on. its like telling some one that make 10 million a year saying that you can not live on just on 1 million a year every one would know thats jsut bs fromt he guy making 10 million a year saying that. right.
a Doctor in the Philippines earns 50k to 55k a month.
If you need more you seriously need a vibe check
Listen all:
Living like a king depends on your own definition of what is like “living like a king”
1000 USD is tight
I would say for a single guy you need at least 1500 USD per month.
You can’t if you’re married in the PH
Look after your health too
You cannot live there with less than $3000 dollars per month unless your not married or in a relationship with a Filipina lady, you have to feed her family, pay family bills, been there, I broke up because it just cost me too much money, now I stay single since my pension is only $4000 dollars per month.
With a 1,000 USD a month you can live like a "premium homeless", that is a standard homeless but with a shack over your head 😂
That's not true at all... $1000 USD is around 57,000 pesos per month which is a decent middle class salary in the Philippines. Its not "premium homeless"... Plenty of YT channels showing people enjoying a nice life at that price point...
Probably be cheaper just to buy a good coffee maker off Amazon.
It definitely would. But sometimes it's from boredom or just to get out the house. For me at least
Maplewood NJ shout out to this guy 6:51 6:52
"live like a king on 1k" is just a joke
1K$\month defifnitely you can’t live like a king esp in mega cities or Manila perhaps in the province!( no wife no kids just be single )
I thought that very same thing this morning with the coffee. It means a lot makes you think about all the small things they do for you. Why I do for her all I can.
$1000? No.
$2000? Yes.
If a Filipina calls you AFAM run the other way. It is NOT a positive term it means A Foreigner Assigned in Manila. It is in the same ballpark as the 4Ms.
A filipino family lives on 400 a month so 1k should be easy😊
True. But can you live like a "king" for that much
He’s articulate
So if I stay single, and don't go crazy, 3500$ a month until I die should be very "comfortable" living. Got it.
until you die? 3500 maybe not enough in 20 years...who knows
Nice guy.
you could before the biden admin...the whole world everything has gone up 30% - 50%
Im a Filipino and we barely live with $1000.. and we even own our house...
Thank you for sharing!
Greetings from Ireland … are you living in the Philippines with your family ?
If you are living in the Philippines, that doesn't seem right... Could you share what are your expenses?

🙏✌️❤️💪👌
No King living here on any amount of money. Almost all with the means will pick a country with just about everything better.
with everything i have said i will tell you never listen to any youtuber channel that says you need at lest X amount of money to live in the philippines for you will know all thats coming out of there mouth is only BS.
You are 110% correct …. Everyone has different tastes / opinions …. Some on UA-cam love listening to themselves talking 😅
I do ok
Watch out she going to put Lyle in your coffee
500.00 to 1,000 you live like a Filipino person
. ..
Too strong criticism of Manila i stayed in pasay, makati and BGC yes no where is perfect but I hate to say it he should put down the beer cans
good video
Bicol supposedly has the best food in the PH. Naga and iriga cities are known for the best cuisine.
My wife is my age, but I don't think older guys getting younger women is all about money. These young guys got no game. We actually had to work at it to seduce a girl. They do what they learned on prn videos or TikTok. It's not a fair fight.
its true you cant live with $1000 dollars 58731.50 PESOS in the us canada thailand and many more ITS TOO DELLUSIONAL😂
1000 lol
You need minimum $3000 US Dollars and up to live decent.
Define living decent.
@@patrickmunneke8348 can go out to eat and drink whatever you feel like having rent a decent condo have a girlfriend and travel sometimes and have a few hundred dollars put away for emergencies
That is if you live in a luxurious lifestyle, $3K minimum will not be enough and cannot stretch your daily lifestyle for a long time...
Does that mean having 24/7 maid/cleaning service (of five people, each working their eight hour shift). A driver (who is always on standby), a team of 10 gardeners (who also work 24/7) who will run and pull up that weed just in case they see one.
