My aunts birthday is July 4th and we lost her a year ago in April and her twin sister is going to have her first birthday without her. You're right, grief has no time limit
Yep. I’m 29. My parents passed away when I was 22 months apart from each other. My best friend passed 3 years ago. Some days it’s fine and some days it just hits me like a brick. Happened recently when I had my son 3 months ago and I realized my parents would never know I had children and would never meet him. Grief doesn’t have a time limit and grieving isn’t always linear

Just read your about me on here, you are in Kentucky? me too...Louisville Kentucky, I was born in E-town.... lost my mom back in 2017, and you are so right it does not get easier..... I miss my mom terribly....I have 2 sisters, I was first born.....So sorry for your loss.....
