It would be a magical dream if all the Dutch metal queens Floor, Anneke,Sharon, Simone and Charlotte were on stage all together.
Within Temptation was offered to represent the Netherlands but they refused.
Sharon did end up being in a jury picking up Dutch entry a year or two ago though.
I vote for a women of metal festival. But worldwide.
Give Arjen Lucassen a call to bring all these ladies together on Stage!
Quite possibly the fabric of time and space would be torn asunder or a God would show up.

This was the final song of an immense concert, singing this while being sick and on steroids to enable her to perform at all.
This song is beautiful. Her voice always gave me the goosebumps. All that energy and just, positivity. So hard to find in these days of turmoil.
I remember when TMF (Dutch version of MTV) was still on tv. And when one of their songs came on my older sisters and even my parents would turn the tv louder. This is how i turned into metal just when i learned to speak.
I've seen them live 14 times and Sharon still blows me away!

I believe this song is 20 years old already. First song of them that hit the charts in The Netherlands. And probably the only symphonic metal band that ever was in the Dutch charts. This song was on the radio non stop. Ah.... Memories.
And she was sick during this concert, and she still sang this good
You can certainly hear it in her breath capacity but still! I can't sound like this on my very best day with computer assistance.
She wasn't and it doesnt matter. She sounded as good here as she ever has. Which is beyond great.
I was there and yes, she was and the show was close to being canceled that morning! I would have been pissed having come from the UK to NL and standing outside for 7hrs to get front row! 😅

Those are their earliest songs, influenced by doom metal and they actually mix her angelic vocals with growls of their guitarist or guest growler.
They’re beauty and the beast singing style is epic and very theatrical.

Yes, there are amazing renditions from Sharon, but the most remarkable is the rendition of Silvey with “In or out love”. This rendition is based on an other remarkable rendition from Sharon. Sharon has a collaboration with the best trance DJ Armin van Buuren. Amazing and there are 2 vid’s available 1 live and 1 dvd version. Enjoy

sfter 4 hrs of performing for this DVD production, Sharon finishes off with THIS song to end the show..... and to think she had lost her voice 3 days prior to this one off show and only got it back the morning of.. no rehearsals.

I love Sharon but sometimes she sings so high and dances around so much that it's quite difficult to understand what she's saying. I mean it in the best way possible. She's such a powerhouse that sometimes she can't contain herself. Fortunately I know the lyrics but I hope you didn't have such a hard time with this one.
In the early years she sang much better. She lost her voice 😢
She didn’t, she’s singing in a healthier way. Have you heard the promised live? It’s even better that 10 years ago. She still teach the higher notes but her vocals are rounder and richer. She’s using better techniques and she certainly hasn’t lost her voice.
@@katepine3416 ok, in this concert she was sick,but having never studied seriously singing, she spoiled her natural timbre of voice and much toil. It's my opinion,I'm sorry.
Have you hear her live recently? With healthy vibrato and rounded sound? I don’t think you have, her voice has only gotten better. Your assumption is based on nothing but assumptions and can’t be backed up by any fact. She hasn’t lost natural timbre, it’s matured and gotten better.

@@katepine3416 I agree with you. Last WT show I've been to was in 2018 and Sharon was amazing. She changed the way she sings but by that I mean she found better, smarter ways to reach those notes and don't get tired quickly. They played The Promise and Sharon sounded even stronger than on Black Symphony!
