Aaah manorlords and kingdome come deliverance 2 seems to be a good year for medieval games🫡
Man KCD2?! you caught me off guard, thats the best news if recieved holy sh*t!!!!
Agree. I am looking forward to play both these games. Finally some great game releases. :D
Medieval games have been getting a lot of love, Great to see
Going back to the medieval ages with the wars goin on 😂
until they demand representation
imagine total war medieval 3 gets announced 🥲
It’s crazy that one guys passion project exploded with such popularity and it looks to be better then most games in the genre
This is how games used to be made. Before the corporations.
Then most games in the genre what?
I really hope no big corporation buys him out. Eastern European games studios have become the massive next thing and they simply revived honest, customer based games industry from the death, where everyone already lost hope. It was a good move by GSC Game World to move to the Czech Republic and remain in eastern Europe, otherwise the greedy corporations would have already clawed at them to buy them out.
@@adamchapman4447 recent rts’s it feels like it has soul
@@Theobserver6897it’s a city builder not a RTS. The fighting is a tiny aspect of the game
Creative Assembly would add dragons and mythological shit as DLC and say the fans wanted it
Nah they’d just gather money from this and release a sequel without any of the complexity
Going to be a good year for medieval games.
Fun fact: Soil fertility is mainly geological bound (clay, sand, limestone, millenia of organic activity)
This game and *** Falling Frontier *** is something we need ASAP!!!
If anyone's interested in hardcore Medieval warfare and society I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's videos series
cheers
He doesnt cite sources and pushes a pseudo ethnonationalist ideology, I would recommend the Historians Craft as a much more rigorous channel
Manure lords on the quest to increase fertility of the soil
This and KCD2 all in the same year 👌
Don't forget S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 coming out this year 🙂
This might be more addictive than Crusader Kings
I doubt it, since a single play through is all you're gonna need to see everything the game has. Same any any city-builder/survival RTS.
@@mdc3227 way to be a Debbie Downer
@@TihetrisWeathersby No. I'm realistic. CK3 you can literally do anything, and be anyone, that's why most players have hundreds of hours.
@mdc3227 I personally find the more hands on actually building up a town more engaging myself
@@mdc3227I could never get into Crusader kings. It’s basically a menu simulator. Can’t stand it, but to each their own.
I'd totally watch a full playthrough of this by you if you'd ever be down.
Yeah, I just checked and I added it 10-31-22
Edit: Odd the map rotates and the names are static. There's immersion, and then there's 'stubborn' immersion. :)
Just check mine and I win....8-4-22 haha - being a bit sarcastic fyi
@@ssgLunchbox I was surprised when I checked - doesn't seem that long ago.
*CA:* Guys we REALLY need to pull out our thumbs out our asses now and do something now!
*Marginalized Coder in the Corner:* How about a historical title like the old days?
*CA:* NO. We're acquiring new partners to deliver Lego Runescape Total War SAGA.
2024 is the year of video games
7:20 RIP
Been waiting for this for 3 years now 😮💨
Banished 2 all these years later!
Will this game have a modding presence? Thats really gonna decide its longevity for years to come post release
Grid system, please no, when i get the game in 6 days the last thing that ill be doing will be building a grid city 🤮🤮🤮
Game looks amazing, farming does need a buff though and less micro manage feel to it. Trading post is just so automatic OP compared is always a better choice.
Looks interesting
I think weapons in general need to be more deadly
I remember when the day before held this title...
Yes keep reminding me that I still cant get the game
Hopefully success from this game may inspire CA to get off the Fantasy game trip and focus on medieval 3
CA is incapable. They no longer have the talent, desire, or understanding of how to design for their old historical realism inclined audience.
Layoffs, constant white collar reshuffling and lack of incentive means there’s no reason for CA to do anything remotely historical or grounded. That ship sailed with Atilla and arguably Shogun
The game is made with passion, not with the money grinding mind. Big game firms are just people trying to pump as many money into their accounts as possible. They don't care for the games.
This guy is making a great game, that is why he will get big success. Day 1 buy for me as well.
And now CA are crying because people more hype about indie village building game that has better battle sistem and animation than their Battle focus AAA Game.
What is ca?
YES
All of this youtube hype has actually put me off.
Maan a game like this but set in the middle earth would end my interaction with society forever.
I wish!!! That would be amazing!
Need stone walls milord
gimmie now
cause it seems like this dev cares
its the most wish-listed because everyone thinks it's gonna be like Bannerlord or Total war due its combat... when infact its a city builder with abit of rare combat and tiny battles consisting of 600 troops maximum... many are gonna be disappointed because too many people are making it out to be a game it isn't... best way to describe this game is city skyline mixed with10 percent of total war. Thats it. Just watch.
Ya im interested to see how many downvotes it gets cause ppl were expecting more of a combat focus
I give medieval inclined gamers a bit more credit than that. I think that everyone knows what kind of game it is already. Yes, they may more desire a Total War-like medieval battle and empire game, but I do expect that the vast majority of those who purchase it have most likely already come to terms with it is. They will be satisfied because it is apparently such an excellent game.
You could have spend bit more effort on your village layout :D This is not cities skylines 2
First
Second
This is your 5th video in 10 days on Manor Lords, and you're just saying the same things over and over. Actually putting me off tbh.
doesnt look like fun
Only thing missing now is a thief remake
