This is an old review, I understand that, but it's also the 2nd review of this camera I've seen where they don't mention the battery at all. The detail sheet on Amazon says it comes with a battery, but when I bought one and sent it to a subscriber as a give-away item, she said it didn't come with a battery so I'm trying to find out where the battery may be that she can't find it. Did she miss it inside the box somewhere? Or is the battery inside the camera, and she just doesn't see it? It is a non-removable battery and you just have to recharge the camera every time rather than swap batteries? Nobody seems willing to cover this in their reviews.

It's a built in battery, you can't remove it or see it.
