Captive bolt explained test & fail!

- We eat meat... so we rear our own animals for the table... I butcher and dispatch all the animals we eat as meat... here in the test bench i explain how a captive bolt works... and in this instance fails!!!
The captive bolt is now fully working and serviced. .
No animals are shown in this video..it's just a chat about what we use...

That looks like a bad batch of blanks. That primer strike was hard enough to set off a normal primer (assuming it was a centred hit & a fine enough pin). Good video!
@@EnglishCountryLife you know you could be right. I hadn't thought of them being a bad batch. Thanks. I buy them at the market ten at a time.
@@scarletpeate Blanks are like any other cartridge if oil or gunk get near the primer it can wreck them. Get Joe to rig something up like a blunted framing nail. If that doesn't touch off a blank smacked hard into the primer, its a dodgy primer.

@@alexhunter-meier No offence to anyone but I believe in god as much as I believe in vegetarianism. Even though I respect people who believe in them, these are not my convictions. I also believe that religions are based on tolerance (for other religions as well as other customs). So it all makes sense to me. I also believe a good steak is absolutely delicious, I may come up with a new religion with this belief, who knows😇🤣
