yeah absolutely. bc is gonna suffer like crazy with the barrel so short. should have made the barrel longer and moved the chamber and action back in order to keep the same oal. he has the tools to do it much better. probably just the simplest thing he came up with at the time. 1st or 2nd prototype. but it woks ok.

Open bolt restriction probably only applies in the USA. Given that it's a single shot pistol it probably would not apply even then. Now, if he added a magazine, he'd have a machine gun. Which would be a totally different kettle of fish.
I could be wrong, but I think open bolt guns are illegal, because they can be easily converted to machine guns. I see yours is a single shot, but still. . .

Making barrels dude and uppers is another ball game. Plus I’m pretty sure this vid was made to show how easy some things are to make, plus it’s his own design he came up with, to make M16s and M4 clones would take a lot of skill and year of perfection and schooling
Sadly the m4 and m16 etc. are being bought and used by terror groups and criminal organization here in the Philippines you can see it in news everyday, one example is the 2016 marawi siege mostly all the guns used by the terror are backyard made.

However, once you have seen someone get their hands dragged into a machine by their gloves, you will never wear them again. It is horrible to see. Also, it isn't necessary to over-heat a part when grinding. You go slowly and you don't get burnt. Or use vice-grips. By the way, I do accept that a grinder can be less "grabby" than many other rotating tools, but it remains bad practice to wear gloves. I am not criticising the guy, I just think we machinists should share our experiences with one another to keep ourselves safe.
This quality of equipment...you could make a 5 cal sniper rifle....i seen home made shotguns in Thailand ..that use hacksawas n a file .n shells.. looking good while doing it ...single barrel...put those foriegn coins in and itd stop a rhino .

Да ули там, я сам дружбану ради прикола меж глаз целился, а он, типа: - да давай мне пох.. а у меня крючок через пружину перескочил с щелчком, я чуть и не обделался). До сих по вспоминаю и шерсть дыбом встаёт. Я их тогда ка семачки, в неделю по 5 штук точил)
Can you make an over-engineered nerf gun? Specifically, there is a Nerf gun that is similar to this, called the Rifling Swin. It's almost functionally the same as this, with some minor differences.

Took me an hour to explain this to a safety guy at work.
But he is only wearing gloves because of the heat. If he would do it with bare hands he would get burnt by his fingers.
