I can’t do this, is it because I am on the free version?
Ok I got it lol
the tutorial starts at 2:52. You're welcome.
Nice.
Thankz
This is the kind of tutorials I like. I want to see the final relsult first and decide if I need it or nor and based on that I will proceed!
The thought of using Fusion usually wakes me in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, but I actually got this to work. Thank you very much for the detailed and easy to follow tutorial, helped me hugely in a project I am working on!
Heck ya!! I am so pumped I could help!
Finally I'll know how to track stuff except doing it frame by frame
I have been trying to do this through the 'Color' tab on Davinci, watching god-knows-how-many tutorials I've had to watch it, only to see myself become frustrated. I think this just solved my crisis. Thanks a lot, man.
Heck ya I am so pumped that I was able to help!!
one thing, the transform node should be before the tracker node, otherwise, the movement is scaled too. in your video you can see that the logo moves a little bit less than the hand
thank you! I've been stumped on this problem for hours :(
Bro you literally saved my life this messed me up for 3 hours
this saved my whole project
Sorry total newcomer, do you mean I just need to link the transform node TO the tracker so it is 'before' it or? Sorry if this was really obvious
@@sarius2388 The order should be: Logo -> Transform -> PlanarTransform -> Merge -> MediaOut. Atleast thats what worked for me, im assuming marco meant that the transform node goes before the planar transform not the tracker node
Finally a tutorial for tracking with Davinci that's updated and goes straight to the point. Thank you! I've learned a new skill thanks to you, after many hours of failure. Subscribed.
You care about details , and that is big missing of other tutorials.
Thank you so much I really appreciate you so much☺️🙏
Finallyyyyy!! I've been looking for this kind of tutorial for hours. It was great, thanks for uploading it man. I will send you a link to the video that you helped me complete once I finish it. Thanks again.
Man you have been my go to person when it comes to Davinci editing, clean and neat tutorials. Please never stop making these videos
Heck ya!!! Thank you so much that means a lot!
@@samthecameraman9382 you once gave us a tutorial of the logo fade and I started watching you since then and you gave a view to my video too, although it was in Indian language but you still took a look and ever since then my editing on davinci has gone to the next level, all thanks to you 🔥❤️
Great - and nice to have an insight as to what the benefits of things like the different Tracker or what Luma or Blue do. Really helpful. Thanks !
By far the best tutorial I've ever watched. It's short, simple and fully detailed tutorial. Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Fantastic, easy to follow tutorial. Thank you!
I'm a complete novice and I still find it just so FREAKING COOL that I can do this kind of editing on my home laptop with free software.
Heck ya!! That’s why I love davinci resolve so much! You get so much for free with it!
I was trying to figure this for over a week, all tutorials was trying to do this by „color”. You are life saver, thank you.
Great tutorial! Straight to the point! :) Your channel is so underrated!
Thank you, this helped me a lot! I tried to animate it frame by frame, since it wasn't a long clip, but the movement I was trying to match was so subtle that I kept getting out of sync. This sorted it out and now it looks much smoother!
hey i just want to say mad thanks for this turtorial, ur the only one i foudn that showed how to do this and expalined it in a pretty gud way. Here have a sub
This is going to help me so much in the future! Unfortunately not now since I wanted to use this with a screen shake eff that was going on in the background but this was super helpful!
You are a total champ! I just got this to work in a clip where helper carried a black board down an alleyway and I tracked a clip of someone else playing a song onto the board. Your tip about the high contrast was the solution to an earlier attempt that failed. Thanks v. much.
Heck ya I am so glad I could help out!
I have spent 3 days trying to get a successful track on what I thought would be easy and after tutorial, after tutorial, I have left frustrated as the tech didn't work properly.
Your tut made so much sense I could do it in real-time with a second screen and smashed it first go!
You are a freaking legend man!, subbed and belled.
Thank you so much ! You have made a super tutorial, you can be proud you really help me ! THANK YOU
Thank you so much man, I was looking for this exactly (for about an hour mind you). This autoplayed after a video and you explained it VERY well. You get a subscribe from me!
Dude, thank you so much! I was scared to use Fusion more in depth like this, but I'm glad I followed your tutorial! It was so much easier than I was making it in my mind. No more tracking frame by frame manually. =D
Oh wow, this is extremely easy... I am amazed at the simplicity of Davinci day after day. I love it.
Thank you, Sam! You're a great help! God bless you.
This is a very detail tutorial on the planar tracker best one I seen thus far. Great job.
Thank you so much!!! ☺️🙏
Just subscribed. Easy to follow along. Nice work!
Worked a treat! This coming from someone who despises using Fusion. Thanks!
Best paced tutorials I've seen. I don't really comment often but it has to be said, you deserve more subs.

AWESOME tutorial - thanks a bunch!
Thankk you so much
Thanks this was very helpful
Thank you for the nice explanation.
You are very welcome thank you for watching
Great tutorial = subbed and up!
Thank you for the video! I think the Transform node should come before the Planar Transform node, otherwise if the size of the logo node is reduced too much, it won't be able to follow your tracker out of the reduced box
☺️🙏
Excellent. Thank you so much
☺️🙏
Thanks a lot bud, very helpful to the point
So happy I could help

amazing! thanks
Great video, really helped me out! Didn't understand trackers at all but now I'm well on my way. However, I do have one question: is there any way to manually edit the tracker keyframes? I'm tracking something that's moving in and out of the shot and the few frames at the beginning and end of the clip don't get tracked properly, so I'd love to know if I can do that manually.
This tutorial is great!!! 🤩
Thank you ☺️🙏
Hey!
I used the tracker and it worked reasonably well but wasn't perfect. I was able to fix it by manually moving some tracking points using the spline editor but I was fumbling around and not exactly sure what I was doing.
Would you make a short video showing how to fix a tracking that's 90% accurate?
Keep it up great help learning resolve.
I will for sure boss! Glad I could help!
Awesome! nice job bro!
Heck ya! Thank you so much!!
Plz suggest any tutorial when tracking is not perfectly perform some particular frame, then we track manually adjust just like in aftereffects.
Great vid😃.I'm trying to track my hand and make like an iron man hud
Thanks ! Really friendly and good tutorial ! ^_^
I am so glad you liked it
Very useful, thanks. I have searched for this subject extensively and this video did not show up, so I'm also commenting hopping that it makes it more visible.
Thank you so much I appreciate you so much!!!!!!
awesome - thx a lot 4 help!!!
So glad I could help!
Hey man, I have a question about this. Does it work with green screened objects? So if I have a video, say of somebody talking, and I do everything necessary for green screen, looks great, can I make it move around the screen? Just like what you did with that logo in the video?
Thanks for the help Subbed. I came here trying to figure that out but with the motion tracking for a crop on a clip. haha idk how to explain it right.
Heck ya!! Glad I was able to help!!
Bro you deserve more subs!Thank you!
Thank you so much!!
