motionVFX won't even respond to you. They gave an additional three months to all of their long-time customers, and now they’re offering free months with the purchase of other plugins. While MotionVFX does create great plugins, and I understand that the subscription model is becoming more common, the way they’ve treated their loyal customers is just shameful. You can see how they’ve reacted or commented on most of the other comments, yet your comment, which is at the top, has received no response. Unfortunately, I am heavily invested in MotionVFX. I’m writing this because it feels wrong to see a company that I’ve held in high regard show such disregard for their loyal customers.
Give us a perpetual license for Roto AI.

The subscription really kills this amazing plugin 😞😞 so disappointed
mRotoAI works well in George's examples, because he's wearing a round cap. But my testing has suggested, that when masking things like whispy hair, the plugin needs further development. So, I find it very useful in some ways, but not yet in others. Still one of the best on the market though (for videos).

sucks that you cant just buy it, almost had me, I've bought thousands of dollars in plugins from you guys, but this subscription model isn't going to work for me.
I installed it and the magic tool doesn't work for me. After drawing my mask it doesn't select anything. Do you know what issue I could be having?

Would love to add this to my toolkit. Just can’t justify another subscription service that I won’t use for every video. Mabie if you make it available for individual purchase, I’ll grab it!
The blur and shrink expand options are not quite as effective as feather on a draw mask. Kind of leaves us with a harsh shape for the mask.
You know what would be even more awesome? Combine this with an option to erase the object, like a content aware tool.
For those having issues with the plugin not drawing a mask, here's what I've found: your video fps and resolution MUST be the same as your project's fps and resolution. If they're different, put your video in a compound clip and track the compound clip instead of the original vid.

I have an M3 MacBook Air and it's not letting me draw the mask. This never happened with my MacBook Air m1. It's super weird, please help.

yea my simple mask gets sloppy. I feel like it doesn't Roto correctly which makes me sad cause it works so well for everyone else.

This is great - what we really need to help sell composites with this is a light wrap feature and some type of pixel based motion blur as in integrated part of the tool set…
All I can say is WOW!!! Thanks guys. What an incredible tool. Wish I had this years ago for me FCP editing. And funny enough I'm working on a project right now that I'll use this on.

How is this any different than Magic Mask in Davinci or whatever auto-mask feature After Effects has?

for the most part it did capture my subject but what do i do if a few frames i need to add to it? do i just draw on that frame or do i have to track forward from there???? cant find any info on this

Just hoover on the magic wand, change for the brush, and select the size :)
