  • Decorah Eagles UME (unidentified Male Eagle) goes on the defensive today, April 27th, 2018 with his talons out in attack mode. He showed up at the Decorah Eagles Nest a day or two after Dad Decorah went missing. Dad Decorah is still missing. The UME seems to be protecting Decorah Mom , her eaglets and the nest. There was a eagle that got too close to the nest and the UME took swift action to chase off the eagle. The UME clearly had his huge talons aimed at the other eagle in the attack, but we could not see the intruder, but heard him during the attack.
