- This is a cardboard glider made out of cereal boxes, the size of this glider is 66 inches which is big for a glider made with this really simple material. It flies and it took me about 4 hours to build it, but to collect the 7 or more cereal boxes it took me about 6 months!

In my early teens I committed a few similar projects with similar success. My bulilt up balsa wing A1 is still hanging on the wall as a memento. It's time soon to reveal this hobby for my little son ;) A a capacitor powered freeflight foamie gonna sit under the xmass three this year.

I just cringed when it rolled, I m 69 I used to make cardboard planes in the dorm. Definitely agreed on the brace. The blend was gusty and maybe that tossed it to and fro, I enjoyed your idea a great deal. Hope you do more and I can find it as well. Wow what a s pan in that thing and in cardboard too,

Just looking around the internet to see if somebody did this already, and found the link to this. I'm going to try something a bit different. With many U.S. cereal brands, the box cardboard is closer to Bristol-board in density/strength, so I'm going to try framing with the cardboard and skinning the aircraft with the plastic film from those bags that you get from grocery stores. A bit more challenging to make and perhaps fragile, but maybe lighter too in terms of being able to glide.
