Greetings. This mod is relatively new to me. In the past I played on the Kobayashi Maru mod alot. Does this mod also feature free roam mods like Galaxy War Charts? Or all the different ship bridges where you can walk around it?
Hey Luke, nice video. However, I do have to say that I have my "standard" BC modded so much, and playing with very high res textures on all my ships, planets, background stars & nebulas. Also, have many mutators installed to basically make it equal to KM (and I also have a separate install of KM!). In all honesty, my "standard" looks quite a bit better than STBC Remastered. Also, are you playing these ships in this video with the original HP's for each ship or have they been altered/modified in any way? After all, one can go in and mod the HP on a little shuttlecraft to be able to win over any ship (even multiple ships) with ease. I've got 200+ ship mods in my install(s) and have been playing this game since it first came out in 2002. Please reach out if you want to talk BC shop sometime. BTW, your phaser textures & phaser geometries can use a bit of work to make them look much better. Cheers!
Hey! Just feature this mod as its made by another modder known as Von Frank. We do a lot on the channel so are probably not as hard-core as some of the longer term BC players. Would be great to see what you would recommend to improve even the standard BC! I play the ships as they come with the mod and don't make any alterations also.
@@LTGamingUA-cam Hey, great to hear back from you! Couple of things that are relatively easy to change in BC is 1. Adding specular highlights to the ship hull textures. That's the property of a texture that gives it a more shiny, metallic look. That GREATLY enhances the overall depth & realism to the ships. 2. Another improvement that's super easy to do is to sharpen the existing textures of every object in BC, i.e. ships, planets, asteroids, etc. That makes everything look more crisp and cleaner. All someone needs is Photoshop or some other image editing app to do this. Also, for adding the specular enhancement, a little bit of scripting is needed but still super simple once you've done it a couple of times. I wish I could post a couple of screen shots here from my BC of my mod upgrades. That would show just how realistic & awesome the game now looks! If you know of a way where I can upload a couple of those images here on UA-cam, please let me know because I don't know how (if that feature even exists).
I forgot gog existed today installed and bought this game for less than 10 bucks plus this remaster 😢 I'm so happy lol
🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Some good Voyager lore was thrown in there bro.
Awesome! Remember this one from Voyager :)
LTG…. Great review…. You guys sure love your Trek! Consider this star fleet commander “engaged” ❤️🐌🐸❤️🤗🚀🚀🚀
Nice one LT🤟
I know that it gets some hate, but I was always a fan of the Prometheus! It is an unapologetically geeky uber starship
Retro badger does max weapons, engine's, shields
Who? Well you can do that approach for sure 🚀
@@LTGamingUA-cam they are another UA-camr that plays this game and it can help dodge torps better at max engine power
@Trevor Barnett yeah I've messed about with dodging a little but it's way harder in remastered. I'm finding keeping a distance helps 🚀🚀

It doesn't feature the same as KM! Mainly remasters the ships and campaign :)
@@LTGamingUA-cam Thank you for the response!
Though i think the km mod is superior
are you controlling the ship using keyboard? can it work using an x box controller?
Yes keyboard and mouse. I doubt the Xbox controller will work!

@Moe De Luca I think you could screen capture your gameplay? Then upload that to YT?
