Just bought it on GOG. Great video. Thank you Burning Earth Productions.
Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoy the game as much as I have!
Federation takes no prisoners, lmfao, I’ll subscribe 👍
M.I. takes no prisoners, we never did back in the day... to those from online community... who remember good old days...
I remember just about 5 years ago I couldnt find the Kobayashi Maru mod ANYWHERE lol.
Let's have a new remake of this game using the Unreal Engine 5 !!
Seeing this game in Unreal 5 would be nuts!
Just picked up Bridge Commander on GOG today - Happy Star Trek Day!
Where's a good place to get the Kobayashi Maru Mod?
Link to the mod is in the description! Enjoy!
@@BurningEarthProductions Ah, I see it now, thanks!
Just got it on GOG!
Awesome video and game. Loving the mods here, (have you tried Remastered yet)? Subbed and liked my dude.
Thank you for watching and for the kind words! I still have yet to try remastered, but if enough people ask, I may make a video on it and see what it's about. :)
@@BurningEarthProductions Ahh gone just do it, have a second copy of BC files though if anything goes wrong you can revert back.
@@Trickydickie86 So I did a quick playthrough of BC Remastered, and while I can't justify doing a full replay of the entire BC Campaign (given how long it takes to make these videos combined with a desire to keep things fresh on the channel), I can safely say that the work done on the mod is quite impressive, if somewhat incomplete. During the mission where you rescue the Cardassian Freighter from the Soryak, the campaign glitched out and stopped working for me after the Soryak warped out of the system (though I will confess I'm not sure if this is because of the mod or because of the original game). I also noticed that a lot of the ships don't have correct registry numbers and markings -- that may seem like a minor thing, but for a game like this, I would consider it essential for world-building purposes (though alternatively, the ships could have no registry markings at all as a quick and dirty substitute).
It's good to see a lot of the work my friends have done still being praised and still being used across different mods. If the mod gets more polish, I might do a more complete demonstration, or if there ever comes a point where I decide to revisit Bridge Commander, I'll showcase the mod for the channel. 🙂
@@BurningEarthProductions yeah VonFrank has put a lot of work into Remastered. still in its early stages. More to come.
I changed all the torpedoes explosive range to .05 and made it a more realistic game.
They make mods that make the ships beautiful, still haven't upgraded character models lol. That was possibly the only thing I disliked (and a glitch I found that seems to cause war to break out between the romulans and klingons, and then you get hailed by everyone at once, my viewing screen was constantly changing to a different character like flipping channels on a tv, all hailing me and then saying nothing before a new hail came in; wish I recorded, it was kind of funny; not certain what caused it).
can you show how you installed the ship mods. I went to a site called gamefront and downloaded the ship mods and followed the instructions but I keep getting a cmd error that asks to resume or abort, basically the game crashes.
With most mods, all you have to do is basically copy and paste their content (Data, SFX and Scripts folders) into your root Bridge Commander folder; most mods were arranged that way as far as I can remember. However, if you're stuck with an error that keeps making the game crash, I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling Bridge Commander as a whole and try reinstalling the mods from that point. It's a pain in the ass to be sure, but it's the only method I can think of to fix a problem like that.
If you're new to modding the game, I would also recommend checking out Bridge Commander Central -- it is a website that is run by some of the most prolific modders of the game, some of whom I have worked with on professional projects. Sorry I can't be more help. I hope you're able to get things working!
Is it possible to have bc remastered and kobyashi Maru at the same time or is it one or the other? And also which is better?
Since Kobayashi Maru and BC Remastered are such radically game changing mods, I would recommend having two separate installations of BC, with each mod installed to a separate BC install; otherwise, youll have to do one or the other. I unfortunately can't comment on BC Remastered since I haven't played it.
How do i change bridge and crew, ship etc thanks
hi!!! where are you download the main game? Txs!!
***EDIT 9/8/2021*** Star Trek: Bridge Commander is now available on Good Old Games to purchase. Happy Star Trek Day!
Considering its age, Bridge Commander is a rare game these days; while I can't condone piracy, you might still be able to snag a copy on Amazon or Ebay.

is anyone still playing PVP?
