I just picked mine up Friday. I ordered it in Oct of last year. What a wait. I could have built a house! Worth the wait. Its stunning. Its like a business jet, it isolates you in this cocoon. So cozy. Mine is IF/TC with the performance pack and I have to say the rear wheel steer is AWESOME!!! If your looking at getting this GET THAT! Everyone gives the infotainment system crap. I test drove E63, M5 plus comp, 911... sure the LC is different but I find it fine. I actually prefer it over the other systems. No smudge prints on the screen and I'm not stupid. I figured out how to use it. Imagine that.
The AC is left on the main screen splitting the screen and having the temp on the Right side. If you config that you can click to a/c to shut it down. Not huge. Again figure out your system.
I woundt get performance pack. This vehicle is elegant not to add a wing. I have others that has obnuctious wings. But if you like it that all it matters

Can you tell me how the ordering and length of wait and other issues related to your order? I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and order still not accepted by factory. I am wondering how long that may take and other issues that might crop up.
We have an LC500 and a Panamera GTS and both cars are gorgeous and are a great cars to drive. The LC is so unique and beautiful that it stands out when you see one in public. They are the most expensive Lexus product and their halo car and has the most beautiful and tastefully done interior of any car. Many complain about the pad for using the screen but there is a lot of options built into this car that can be programmed and once set, you hardly ever use the pad after that is all done as it has verbal entry for most anything else you need to do. It has a built in set up that automatically puts the air conditioning and heating directly to where you like it, and once you start the engine, no manual adjustments are needed. Changing the temperature has direct buttons and automatic . It’s exhaust sounds awesome and is one of the best in the industry. It gets almost 30 mph on the road and has one of the last naturally aspirated big V8 engines in the industry and has no turbo charged add-ones to help it go. This Lexus engine will run forever. It has a ten speed transmission which may be the only car in the industry with 10 speeds. I could go on an on as this car sells for just over $100K but is built like no other car in the world and may be the best GT car in the world. It is a better then an Aston Martin which costs much more. I will stop there. Check it out as it is a great car for the money.
I've seen testers get 6 MPG with the LC500 in agressive city driving. The LC500h on the other hand has achieved 37 MPG with lots of city driving. So if you often hit pockets of dense traffic, the LC500h may be a better choice if you don't want to spend big bucks on gas.

Honestly this cars will last decades after the competition has been scrapped, with that in mind I will take it with it's Nuance's irrespective of them knowing they will be around with me to enjoy for years to come.
I own one of these but in convertible. I agree that it’s an amazing vehicle that is gorgeous and attracts a lot of attention. Yes - the infotainment system is not ideal but I’ve gotten used to it. As for the a/c, yes you can start it and adjust it with the buttons on the dash. You did it in the video. All you have to do is press auto and adjust the temp. Yes, for full configuration of the a/c option and air flow direction, etc., you have to go into the submenus of the infotainment system, but you can certainly turn the a/c and heat on and off and control the temp right on the dash. As for the break dust, you mentioned that you didn’t wash it in 2 months. I use mine only for leisure, so it’s not a daily driver. I wash mine thoroughly once a week wether I drive it or not. Since you used it everyday, try to get in the habit of washing it once or twice per week and you won’t have too much of an issue with brake dust, AND your car will look much better on a daily basis. With all due respect, why don't you spend some time reading the Owner's Manual? This is a highly complex machine and much like going from a Cessna 172 to a Learjet 60, you don't just step into the pilot's seat and take off. Had you read and learned about the software, you wouldn't have made such idiotic comments about the INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM. In fact, you would have been praising it! I've had my 2018 LC 500 for almost four years. It's awesome in EVERY SENSE of the word. If you want to really enjoy your car, read all the documentation that came with it. It takes some time but it's worth it. Don't assume you're smart enough to figure everything out. You're not! Neither am I. The NAV is excellent. So is the CLIMATE CONTROL. Please read!!! After you do that, here's what you might want to do. Learn about the buttons near the shifter. There is one with an arrow that loops around. That's the BACK BUTTON and it takes you BACK to where you were. You'll also find that same arrow on the display. Next, Go to the MENU and go through every part of it and SET UP YOUR OWN PREFERENCES. Once you do that, you almost never have to use the TOUCH PAD. You will also read about VOICE COMMAND. With a press of one button on the left side of the steering wheel, you can tell the car exactly what you want to do and it will do it. For instance: Press the button and wait for the beep. Then say NAVIGATION. Then tell the car where you want to go or what you're looking for. Do you want pizza? Do you want to go to a particular address? Whatever you want, tell the car. I might say "Mountain Mike's Pizza". The program will list all the "Mountain Mike's Pizza Parlors" near me. If I know which one, I tell the car. If you want to TEXT somebody, say "TEXT SO AND SO". There is a lot of "stuff" to SETUP. Take your time and do it all. As for the CLIMATE. Set up your preferences and I'd recommend using CLIMATE CONCIERGE. That will make the inside environment comfortable in most cases. If you do want it COLDER, tell the car. If you want the AC on find the red and blue arrows on the CLIMATE CONTROL and press DOWN to the desired TEMPERATURE. Then turn on the FAN and cold air (AC) will cool you off. In other words, it's all up to you. You were lucky and smart enough to buy a $300k plus car for 1/3 the cost. To not take advantage of this is silly. Put some effort into LEARNING ABOUT YOUR MACHINE. After you do this, please do another video. I will bet THAT VIDEO will be a lot different than this one.

I own one (LC500H), also suffered at the beginning connecting my phone, even the dealer didn’t know how to fix it, but after a while I discovered that you must change the settings of the media (connect from vehicle or connect from phone).. I can’t explain where to find exactly in the settings menu
What made you choose the LC500H? It seems like a fairly rare choice given how everyone raves about the naturally aspirated V8. Just curious how you landed on the hybrid. Thank you
@@northwestjeff312 I tried both before choosing the hybrid, I didn’t notice acceleration difference but the mileage is way better then the V8, and of course no V8 sound but it has a different charm when it moves silently, just like something futuristic:))
Very nice and congrats! You're so right. These cars get a TON of attention. I have the infrared color and I can't take it anywhere without someone talking about it. It is definitely not a good daily driver. I can't reach the ATM and I have to get of the car to reach the gate code pad in my neighborhood. The back seat is big enough for some groceries or a small dog. But damn, it's fun to drive.
I wonder if Lexus will ever update that infotainment center, add a 360 camera system and possibly add some more HP. For 100k plus the competition makes this car seem a bit dated but I'm just so drawn to it's looks. Really contemplating buying one.
As far as I've read, no one has ever gone 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. 4.4 seconds is far more common. A Supra will smoke it. But as far as a potent GT cruiser, this thing crushes a Tesla. An LC 500h is a great go-between - much more range than a Tesla and superior city fuel mileage compared to an LC500.
Still cannot believe that the infotainment system hasn’t been rectified! It’s this cars main issue. It’s a beautiful car, well made in Japan but I thought the Japanese were the best with electronics 🤔

Love Lexus but they are so far behind on the electronics. WHY??? pay this much and no touch screen? NO android auto? They need to get things together.... I had a SC400 for 18 years and it was great. I even installed a new radio with touchscreen and android auto. Now this 100K plus version is SO far behind every other auto maker.... I just don't understand them....
Its the Kaizen principles. They will always be behind germans, Koreans etc. Toyota wants to make sure their version of tech last very long time without major pickups if possible trouble free. you cant say that for any other brand. Android auto was not put in this because it was the concerns of privacy. 2022 and up has android auto

I don't mind the lack of touch screen either, like you say no finger print smudging all over the screen. Fabulous vehicle.

I have a ‘24. They finally got rid of the track pad. I use CarPlay though so it’s a big help.
The worst part is that all black interior. Toyota needs to put a bit of color on the interior of this 100K car.
