It is so great to see that the team gained the respect of the market/fisherman and started to collaborate to create a healthy ecosystem and are even interested to see the release of these sharks!
This project is especially inspiring. This man started saving baby sharks out of his garage. It shows how it takes just one passionate person to make a difference. Im so glad you guys supported this project.
Yes- it made me think of Steve Jobs, who also began in his garage. Imagine the world without him! I believe this channel can make the same difference with rapid growth!
I don’t know how you do it, but every mission blows me away! This one is so inspiring! Kudos to Greg, for his curiosity and persistence! Kudos to Planet Wild for supporting people like him. I am so proud to be Planet Wild supporter and so thankful that there are people like you 🙏
It's really encouraging to get this kind of feedback - thanks. 💚 And our missions are only possible thanks to the support of our community members like yourself, so kudos to you, too! 😊
It looked cute, but wasn't that shark suffocating? I vaguely recall that sharks get water through their gills by swimming constantly, even while sleeping.
I wish Discovery Channels “Shark Week” would highlight this episode of Planet Wild instead of the nonsense they show. Thank you so much for what you do.
2:27 I heard this as "What Graham discovered was sharking." I laughed at myself, but having watched the rest of the video, it's true! He is now actively sharking, and teaching others to shark. Thanks so much for opening our eyes to another great project.
Rescuing shark eggs from market stock is genious, although I wonder how well the babies fare in the wild after being essentially hand-raised for a year
Totally amazing, from start to finish! Sharks are probably the most wrongly maligned beings in the sea, due to human ignorance. I'm so glad to see Planet Wild support such a wonderful project that not only raises new sharks, but educates too. Another proud supporter here!👍🏻👏❤
Would be great! It gives fish a place to develop and eventually they will probably move into the more fishing heavy areas, much older and beter developed, which should also be good for the fishermen!
The really astonishing fact of Planet Wild and these missions is, how _little_ money is actually needed to make a difference. Please keep up the good work of identifying projects worth funding and giving even small backers the feeling of having real positive impact on our world.
Heartwarming project - giving someone a second chance at life is the most precious gift of humanity. Thanks to the Shark Team and PW. Proud to be associated with this group 🦈 💕
I’m crying, not only for this video but for everything you are doing. To see that there are people that are doing something meaningful is such a relief, even though I talk to everyone I know, I try to do little acts around me everyone seem so uninterested or worse they have an idea of what is happening but they think it’s perfectly fine as it is. Thank you for sharing this, we can’t give up yet!
This is humanity at its best: acting as loving and caring stewards and guardians of other species, and teaching children and others to do the same. You people are wonderful and inspiring!
Thanks for helping save sharks. Sharks are awesome creatures. I lived in a seaside town and my uncle had a beach on the property he managed for his bosses as a side job. Right on the gulf of Mexico and I lived in Florida. Nearby was a surfer hotspot, that was also a hangout for sharks. The reason the sharks were there at the confluence of the coastal river and ocean was the inlet was a hotspot for large schools of the fish they fed on. A teenager I knew through my friends son got bitten. Not too serious, but he had a good size scar on his thigh. He reacted well and the shark let go. Not the sharks fault. Dude came in on a wave and among the fish the shark was feeding on. My uncle was trying to get time off so we could go visit. He taught us about sand sharks as they liked to hangout near the beach in the shallow water. How to avoid being bitten accidentally. I have never feared them once I learned about them. Same as with alligators in the swamps and ponds in Florida. Once you educate people, fear ceases to be an automatic reaction. Thanks also for educating the locals. It is so sad that so many sharks are the bycatch of the fisherman. The fisherman have to make a living and folks have to eat. Just too bad there isn't more done to avoid the bycatch.
I love your channel and every mission you go on! I love it so much, I wish I could actively be a part of it! I feel like this was my life purpose, but life threw too many curve balls at me. I hope and pray one day I can be a part of an organization doing these types of missions and/or bringing light to them and helping to fund! This is _so incresibe_ what this one man did! Truly remarkable!
Beautiful! Good luck little sharks! What an amazing idea, though. I’m so glad Greg kept trying until he cracked the method. Another superb endeavour for PW. ❤
I really really love this channel so much and what yall do but I did want to say that I don’t love the usage of ai art in this video. It has a lot of negative moral implications
My elote recipe: char that corn, mayo, cholula, fresh grated parmesan, creole seasoning, salt and pepper, lime, the important stuff: msg and sesame oil, try it, it blows my mind every time
Such a cool mission - these sharks are so cute! That one person can change so much - it always blows my mind to see this. Reminds me of the book and animation movie "The Man who planted Trees".

Great video 😁. I’ve worked for Sharklab Malta, and I’m glad to see that the hatching videos I took is being used 🌊🦈 Let’s raise hope for these beauties of nature 😊
It’s a basking shark! They don’t always have their mouths open, but they open up their mouths and swim through the water to filter plankton through their gill rakers. The gill rakes are probably what you’re seeing, they do resemble the ribs, but it’s their way of catching food :D
I am so grateful that you came to me. I live vegan because all beings have a right to live freely, just like us, and the issue with sharks is extremely close to my heart. It's great that you exist. May many people learn from the video. God bless you all....love and respect...namaste aloha jah bless

If only Malta gave an area of the Island where NO fishing is allowed to reserve an area where they can flourish.
I was thinking the same. This is just a huge money sink as long as there are no laws which are enforced..

Planet Wild's partners must really stand for AI art garbage there's so much of it. I would rather have grainy low quality REAL images by far.
Truee it´s sad and it is so dumb that they let these low quality images through, for example, that catshark AI image looked like a catfish🤣
I'm saying this as an artist myself, AI art can be used but you can't claim it as your own art
