Cool vid, wondering if you can explain chord progressions in a simple way (like I III V). At first I didn't understand this but I am getting better at it. Something isn't fully clicking (yet). Also would be cool to see more genres, not just house. But totally understand if that's more of your thing.
How would you do this when using a sampler and programming in the kicks via midi? I have them every quarter note so its impossible to see the gaps (back to back quarter notes) for where to place the downbeat.
hey man, you have bass chord there but how do you avoid it getting muddy in the low end? For example, if your bass pluck sound has a separate sub bass lane, does this not muddy it all? Great vid by the way
I will usually low cut the piano if I need to. Or you could use a dynamic EQ and sidechain a band to the bass so that the low end of the piano ducks out of the way of the bass.
Do we just pull names out of a hat and use for genres that aren't correct? This isn't Deep House. It's formal fucking culture respect it. Soul and rhythm 90's.
this was great, thanks alot

I’m new to music production and I’ve been struggling with chord progressions. This video was very helpful thank you!

Same issue for me, did you get it now? Please tell.
Awesome

Amazing video
Can you complete this step by step? Now lets see the intro/breakdown/buildup :)
I have a couple of full deep house song breakdowns on my channel. Just search 'deep house' and hopefully you'll find something that will help!
nice video. but this is not a deep house..
Yes its dubstep!
@@comeonbaby67 nope.
Taco bells progression?
Like your videos but you didn’t actually play minor chords. You played power chords. Technically they are not even chords, they are intervals.
