- In this episode we'll meet odd couple Jack and Olivia from Norwich! Funny man Jack is refusing to grow up. He doesn't see why he should have to move out of his girlfriend's family home when he has all the benefits of being looked after. His girlfriend describes their relationship as more 'parent and child' than boyfriend and girlfriend. Will Jack get his act together or will Olivia keep playing mom in their relationship?
Hotel of Mum & Dad is back! Giving some of the UK's young couples who are still living at home with their parents the chance to move out from their easy life at home! Will a broken boiler end up breaking hearts? Will organising a stressful house-warming party be music to everyone's ears?

It’s worth noting that they’d not actually been together a year (I can’t remember the exact period of time they were actually together for, it was more like a month or two than a year) and the show lied and said it had been a year. It recontextualises it a little bit

Wtf is this? Can I just let everyone aware that this is from YEARS ago. Jack is a completely different person now and not to mention is with a completely different partner and engaged.
In addition to the fact that the show lied and said they’d been together a year, it was something closer to a month or two (I don’t remember the exact period of time) but it changes the context of some of the things he says that make him look horrible if they had been together a year.

He hadn’t been living with her or mooching off her. Made up by the producers. They also hadn’t been together for a year. That was also made up by the producers. They’d been together for 2 months. It’s completely fine to know knowing you love someone after 2 months.

I don't harbor any ill will towards him but don't think he's ready to be in a relationship until he's flown the nest and he may need to be pushed . While nothing about him screams funny or charming to me , I think it's very brave to put yourself out there like that and it looks promising that he has a target audience and has achieved some success !
