this is actually a horrible video concept and proves nothing. make it interesting by forcing them to play with randoms of higher skill then have those better skilled players critique them on how to improve. the best of Apex players can carry the hell out of the worst, 1v1 proves nothing esp when it comes to rank skill

Being a high ranked player doesn't depend on how good you can 1v1 in frag and firing range. To be higher than Plat, you have to know zones, positioning, be able to shoot, think on the fly and most of all be a good teammate!
Oh it definitely does once your in masters and wanna gain . All that lame shit is out the window when preds are apeing

@@dyllanmcneil1601 once your in masters/pred you need to start pushing teams to maximize your rp gain. And most of the time it’s a 3 stack pred team that’s been playing with each other for a while. The match basically turns into pubs rather than actual ranked.

Hate to break it to a lot of this comment section but if you can not solo Q to plat 1 or d4 then you are not good enough to be masters or pred… diamond is when losing points actually means something and is hard to come back from. Even if you literally had no teammates in plat and below , your individual skill level should get you out of plat( if you are actually a masters or pred level player) . That being said, randoms do make the solo Q ranked grind like 1000 times harder than it needs to be, it’s tragic lol
If you can't solo to D3 n gain points somewhat consistantly u don't deserve Masters n yes I've solo queued to Masters 6 times it's all about playing around your team and doing more then them

Ya you can solo push to Dimond its possible but were I think most people are going wrong is the average person is not gifted or doesn't have the time to polish there skill to the point were there at the same lvl as a master player to be able to actually carry all the way to Dimond. In my opinion the main problem stems from people just assuming that the randoms that we play with are just as good as we are and that they will just magically know how to play off of you with out communication and practice with a team to build synergy. And because of this people are stuck in a loop weren they rely on rng to give them a good team and just hope 1 day they get cracked to push by them selfs to what ever rank they wish.

i like that the diamond player was playing fuze and bang, it shows that hes used to playing as a team and using team oriented champions, not champs like wraith that thrive off focusing on themselves and only themselves
playing wraith and such isnt a bad thing at all by any means, she has the potential to play with her team and pull off very high skilled plays as a team, its just the stigma with wraiths and a couple other champs isnt too good in terms of that

Ranked isnt just about 1vs1 it’s about predicting enemy rotations, choosing good rotations for yourself, thinking quickly under pressure from third parties etc. this person might be able to shoot but maybe the reason she isn’t master is because she has terrible game sense.
And working as a team. Dont matter how good you are , you will never 1v3 a cohesive team.
Solo q to high ranks is just a grind unless you’re a legit pro. I just like to practice aim and play w ppl that do the thinky part

This has nothing to do with ranked, this a 1v1 in a very unrealistic situation. These “I deserve a higher rank” people are those bad teammates we all get. You can tell she runs off a lot either leaving her team in a 2v3 or getting herself focused.
For real. And the randomness of each game with getting into fights, making bad plays etc
Solo Q’ing is so much fun lol almost always have nobody to rely on so any mistakes made are your own fault. Really teaches you how to play around different play styles and how to stay alive when it’s just you vs the whole lobby.

Ranked is about playing as a good team. 1v1ing doesn't prove much even if you beat a pred. I got past plat in 4 hours with a trash team, me being the igl helped us glide through plat
ye ranked has no correlation with individual skill. there are masters with bad aim and no movement but they can play as a team and have crazy comms and game sense and team coordination. But otherwise they could get smoked by a plat in a 1v1

it doesnt matter how good ur aim or movement may be, game sense is a necessity to making it to masters. knowing when to fight, when to pull out, when and where to rotate etc
thats likely one of the big reasons shes hardstuck plat. there was like 3 times where she literally said she thought her opponent was on a completely different floor than her and she runs right into them...

I'll outplay tf out of someone by wall jumping or supergliding over their head, but my following shots might as well be used on the tip of a pencil. I practice my aim so often, but I think my reaction time is just too slow to track peoplr
This method is not a good indicator of skill or ranked game sense. I know they ranked system is changing but regardless to hit masters you need to be able to get kills and get placement. That means know your rotations be able to get squad wipes quick and hold off a third party or get kills from afar and hold a good spot in circle. This is how they play. If you rotate late you’re almost always in the worst spot. So having them 1v1 just isn’t realistic considering you don’t get 1v1s like that in ranked and especially not in high rank where teams with as units
This is also not to mention I’ve gone in the range with my master friends I grind through diamond with and it’s usually very even but there’s one of us who consistently gets way more damage while I’m usually in the middle with just as much Kp but not as much damage. So I’m there for the fight but he’s the fragger for sure. And again in the range we are all even

12:51 this moment here encapsulates a big reason as to why she's not a Master. The audio was clearly coming from the third floor, but she thought it was the second floor. This could have been a critical moment had the master decided to climb there from the lightpole on the back, which he very well could have since he knows she's inside the stairway. I think her game sense is a very big reason she's not a Master because if she can't pinpoint where one person is, then how can she do that with 3?

biggest thing is definitely learning to conform to your randoms play style but still taking igl when needed. even if they dont have a mic, still ping and comm and you'll see better results
I don’t even need to watch past the platinum round to know she doesn’t even come close to deserving masters. I would say at most and no higher P1-D3 on that range. She is good I’m not saying she is bad just not a masters or even high diamond. Put her against someone like Tiffa who has actually made it to masters on multiple occasions (I know cliche example but whatever) this girl would get slapped up down side to side and from above all at once. Keep grinding keep practicing you may not be at the skill you need right now but eventually you’ll get there. Stop blaming your teammates, play your game and grind you got this.

@@alexanderweekday6076 Actually she showed that she can perfectly engage and disengage . She has incredible gamesense and one most of her fights through engaging at favourable positions for her. For people like you who always use the team game excuse then it means that you yourself aren't good enough to be in masters because your getting carried by your teammates making up for your own wrong doings and misplays. Since it's a team game with three players on your team statistically your basically saying that you only account for your wins 33 percent of what was done in the match even if you win and play your best.

as a solo i've hit D1 multiple times but I just don't have the patience to rat every game. I honestly get teammates that throw games away by just rushing head first into 50/50's. As I progress I notice that my randoms tend to become super aggressive and tunnel visioned, they try to do everything by themselves and die for it. When I have competent teammates we thrive! Great comms lots of opportunities for ez kp and I dont have to break my controller to clutch 3 v 1. I may not be the best igl but as far as mechanics go I definitely feel i can hang with the best ive killed many predators and masters players so ik its true but always being solo is definitely a hinderance in this game. I would even go as far as to say my shots are up there with people like gen but I don't have an environment that i can prove that in.
Sounds like youre the teamates that sat behind and watch your teamates that sit behind and watch your teamates die, and complain about why they pushing. I respect your style of playing for placement, but you gotta match your team’s style and play accordingly, not everyone wants to rat for 20 minutes and die to the first engagement

The amount of times i changed a game from 0 pouints to 50 to 100 because i didnt sit whith my teammates and keep fighting an already lost fight. I would even help them leave and they wouldnt take it. Then they blame me the whole game meanwhile they still havent left because im getting them points. The sad thing is then im forced to rat the whole game because i cant rly solo it unless i get an easy 3rd

I've always solo q'd and I solo q'd to masters. That's why I main Loba so if I do get bad teammates I have a quick get away and a way to stay looted/suited as well be able to bring them back
im a solo cue diamond player, no excuses. Tho I use to think the same, that it was my teammates. Then I just went on the grind and got from plat4 to d3
So then I should just keep grinding? Because idk, it surely does feel like it's my teammates when I gotta carry every game. Everyone fights dumb fights, can't even win a 1v1 despite not staying together. Doesn't know how or when to rotate. Games sense is super trash. When I'm the last player on my team almost every game, it's hard to not think it's not my teammates. I only played ranked this season, got plat 3 but the headache is so huge with low level players that I just can't seem to find myself wanting to keep going, I literally get tilted.
With new rank system, Ima give it a good go. Since I'll get rewarded for being the slayer on team or fighting disadvantageous fights where teammates are both dead or someone rage quit out. At least that's what I hope, I'll solo to diamond with the ways you acquire bonuses based of off performance.
@@neito.m.6741 Yea jus grind for it. I have no mic and I just ping where I want to go. Fortunately I'm a good player so I get a lot of kills and can 3v1 in plat lobbies. If your team dies then just rat and steal kills. Like I said I got from p4 to d3 in 3 days. It was more like 1 and a half because i took hella breaks and didnt play for a day in-between. Game sence is inportant jus always look where to zone pulls and go for hight and where you think zone pulls.

Diamond can be reached solo it’s not unrealistic, me and my team allways used to solo q till d4, then squad back up as in diamond placement becomes much harder to maintain as more people are thinking about getting placement rather than just running round for kills constantly

I've been grinding and my highest rank was D3 before Season 17 (I reached Master), I play Solo mostly on Singapore/Tokyo server.
Heres a thing about solo Q, communication is key.
Most of my random mates doesnt understand English. They prefer Chinese or Japanese. Theres no way they can understand me other than ping. This cost the team seriously. I believe my stuck in D4 last season was also due to this.
Another one is, 80% of my teammates, just push alone. I tried comm with him/her, no luck. In the end, he just needs help. This costs the team. We got pushed as 3v2 and back to the lobby.
I watch ShivFPS play a lot, and most of the time, his teammates comm with him. This is probably due to his influence in the streaming platform. Plus, the teammates understand English. He plays on the London server.
I'll keep grinding to get Master after Season 17. I know I'll be stuck in Diamond for sure, but the only way is to learn and be better..

No it’s about camping to masters. A hard stuck bronze can get plat by camping
@@Dark_reaper435in the new season yes, in seasons 14-16 though i don't think so. there's no bronze player in the world who'd enjoy sitting until top 5 every game only to get +15, considering that you needed 8200 rp in total to get to plat.

as someone who started playing in S13 split 1 again and peaked s16 at D1 (solo q), you really need to try and push forward from d4. D4 unfortunately is a glorified plat 1 and theres a reason a lot of people are hardstuck D4 which is "plat is easy to get out of and diamond is hard to get through".
You already did the first hard step of getting to diamond, now just grind as much as you can and you'll eventually reach higher Diamond or even Masters. It's all about improving through learning how to fight. In ranked playing zone is the easiest thing to learn.
You can basically AFK your way to masters this season.
It’s not that I can’t solo to diamond, it’s that it, with bad teammates I progress so slowly that I usually end up not having enough hours in my split to grind

If your going to solo queue use ur mic. You have to IGL and make decisions for your team. Some people will listen some won’t but they can’t complain when they die… If your not comfortable then find a group it always be better than solo queuing.

I think its possible to make it to solo to diamond or even master but it's definitely a grind
She did really well, i personally was impressed with her 1v1s in my defense i was working with 130+ping when I play normally on 20-30 ping.
While she can hold her 1v1s ranked isn't about 1v1s alone, which is probably why she's stuck in plat, there's more macro gameplay in ranked in terms of positioning and knowing when to fight that being able to win 1v1s doesn't always guarantee you'll climb the ladder. If she can solo to diamond, then she will be able to climb to masters with a team.
i personally dont think 1v1's determine whether someone deserves a rank or not. i believe a lot more goes into ranked besides gun skill/play. at most id say this player is high d2 or low d1

getting to diamond is very easy imho, I dont play often and havent played for the past 3 months. However, when I play after 9-5 + gym and classes I regularly solo reach dia 2-3. Maybe if I push enough I can reach master. I have better tactical understanding of the game but my gun skills in close range sucks (maybe because I play on laptop on 50FPS). Thinking of switching to controller maybe it helps

99% of my team mates are absolute ass that will go and get themselves killed within 5 seconds of landing. Also, I always get teammates that are the same rank as me until i get to Plat then all of a sudden I keep getting team mates that are bronze 3 or 4 or maybe silver if im lucky and get thrown into diamond lobbies...so frustrating
I feel like she sticks to the main route when she goes through buildings too much and i think she should take a diffrent rout for example. At streamer building she can climb up it instead of predictably taking thr main route
I feel like I could be in master if I rlly put effort bc normally I get D1 solo queuing
