Hello Dan. I enjoy every single second of your episode. You got all of my respect.... You are huge inspiration 👍🏻. Good work ♥️. Greetings from Czech republic.
Just did 'Top of the World' and 'Taylor Highway' with a mate, Bikepacking. Saw this video a few months back as prep for the trip and watching it again now. Nothing actually prepares you for these roads. We busted our balls doing this, and sorry that you missed the 20km downhill to the Dawson City ferry.
Hi Dan! Enjoying your amazing videos! My husband and I(from Phoenix AZ) met you in Hyder, AK. at the fish and chips place. Safe travels and keep the journey rolling!
Hello Dan! Beautiful video work my friend. It's not easy to do while traveling; however, you're doing a great job. So, if you happen to break down again, take your bags off it will make it much easier to get in a vehicle and you could have loosened and turned your handlebars sideways for the first truck. Just a thought. Again great video and we are looking forward to following along. ~Ron & Petra
Thanks! Yeah at that time there were so many people coming past I figured it would be easier to wait for someone with space but I didn’t think to loosen the handlebars that’s a great idea :)
I'm enjoying your journey and look forward to seeing more - thank you for sharing. Mechanicals must be beyond frustrating though, you're taking them more calmly than I would... Ride safe.
Thank you I’m glad you’re enjoying it! I find I have to accept that things are going to go wrong and I’m gonna have mechanicals that way it’s a lot less frustrating when they inevitably do!
Another great ep, with more spectacular scenery and wildlife. It’s also lovely to see some of the people you meet along the way. Looking forward to the next one. Hope your bike troubles are over by now. Happy cycling!
Hi Dan! I am enjoying your amazing trip so much! Your video footage as well 👍 what is the kind of drone you use please? Wonderful to follow your journey and I hope to do something like it next year. You're so inspiring 🤗
Beautiful scenery! How do you deal with the wet tent/gear? Do you try to dry it before packing it, or just pack it wet and hope it dries next time you pull it out?
It depends. If there’s a bit of sun in the morning I’ll try and let it dry as much as possible otherwise I’ll just pack it wet. It does mean I can go multiple days without it getting to dry properly if it rains every night, and that can get pretty tough but that’s just part of the journey!
Look at a chain guide for your front chain ring. My wife’s bike had the same issue and I got her the GnarWolf guide from wolf tooth. Fixed her issues! There are a bunch of options but that will fix the issue of throwing chains. Love your videos.
Hi Dan! We did your adventure but in reverse. Dawson City to ferry to Top of the World to Chicken to Tok. Bob and I are really enjoying your vlog. Just curious (and because our conversation at Rancheria Falls in Yukon was brief), what's your background before deciding to bike Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Argentina? Am asking because of your mastery of editing and storytelling. Most impressive! Looking forward to the next episode! 🚵
New subs here, I am excited to see your journey for the next few weeks, months, or even years! I am also a fan of Johan. You are lucky to be able to do this kind of adventure, hope I can do this also. Keep going Dan! Waiting for your next episode! 🙏🙌
Just recently discovered your channel and now watching your journey. Fantastic videos and it makes me wanna go on such an adventure. What is the type of Surly bike you’re riding? And tire width? Thanks and greetings from Holland 🙋🏻♂️
Hey Dan, we spoke at Rancheria Falls. According to GPS, it's looking like you've made it past the smokiest part of the Cassiar? Hope all is well! Will continue to follow your channel!🙂
Hey, yeah I actually cycled from Rancheria Falls to Watson Lake in the smoke it was horrible! Then I hitchhiked down to Boya Lake to avoid the smoke on the Cassier
The thumbnails can't keep up with the video quality. I can't tell you much about what to do better, but it seems really old. Maybe don't use yellow characters. Still a fantastic video. Keep it up.
Thanks! I actually agree I’m not really happy with the thumbnails, need to find some time to sit down and work on them, any ideas would be massively appreciated! :)
Great video ! Love the fact that you added a map of were you are/going and keep track of miles traveled, helps keep up with distance
Yo Dan!!!
I started watching from the Baja divide but now going back to watch it from the start! Great videos. I will be watching all of them!

Beautiful stuff man. How are you editing and publishing on the road? Seriously great stuff. Music really does elevate it too !
Thank you so much! I’ve got a laptop with me so I just try and do as much as I can in the evenings or when I have a day off in a town/city.

Thanks! It was actually an issue with the freehub, I think it got dirt in it during the storm so I couldn’t freewheel :)

Haha just a couple of portable power banks
Loving the videos. Great B-roll too! Are you editing on the road?
