I have a Okuma rod/reel ultralight spinner...its so freaking comfortable i forget about the rod. When i have less expensive rig i tend to have be more attentive with it. Compensate for it. The Okuma is so natural feeling in my hands and casting is..automatic. If that makes any sense...

When you hold a rod that light it's like you don't even have to think about it your right.. it makes for a better fishing experience, that's for sure

I love fishing but honestly with so many variables when I fish I personally rarely spend over $70 for a rod… The nicest rod I own is a Duckett crappie slayer 😂

Nothing wrong with the budget gear, but I will say this. Dont ever try higher end gear, because you wont go back

I only go as high as 80 dollars fore a rod ore reel but most times I buy combos frome walmart I can't afford high price things maybe once in a while
