Great video bro!! I like how you mentioned bugging out!! It really annoys me when someone says "well you don't need that". It's not always about the need, it's the principle of freedom. Good Morning The Kentucky Patriot. I hope that you have a great 👍 day today. I gave your youtube video a huge thumbs up ok The Kentucky Patriot. I love ❤️ watching all of your youtube videos. Keep up the great 👍 work The Kentucky Patriot and thank for this update.
TKP. Good video. I fully agree with all that you have said. We have seen this happen in other areas of life as well. They only want an inch to start with, we give in, and they come back and now they want a mile. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
I am a 67yo gun owner. I've owned more than a dozen guns since I was a teen. I've owned .22, .38, .357, 9mm, .40, and 12ga. I've fired my friends guns. They hunt, but I stick to fishing. In my lifetime, I've shot-cleaned-ate exactly 1 squirrel and 1 rabbit. AR's are cool, but I don't have a need or a want for one. What other ADULTS need or want is really none of my concern. I am concerned that AR style weapons are not "well regulated". IMO, they should at least have a minimum age of 21 or even 25yo. I believe that voting rights are MUCH more important than a teenagers AR. Do not ignor voting right restrictions by you-know-who.
I like fishing too. Personally, I think if somone can vote or be drafted they should be able to purchase a firearm. The AR is no different than any other semi-automatic rifle. If we start applying gun control it is a slippery slope. Criminals will get guns regardless. Making good people helpless won't make bad guys harmless. Thanks for watching :-)
You don't need it, until the day you need it. It's kind of like that odd tool in your toolbox. It just sits there never getting used, until the day you need it. We may very well face tyranny some day, and then we'll have to go digging through our toolbox for that odd tool. JT
I’m a new fan. I’ve thought about the quandary of guns or no specialized military weapons, or no guns. For some reason I began to think of my feelings on this. So here goes. “Any instrument used in intentionally harming a human is an assault and it used purposely to inflict injury and damage makes it a weapon. Assault Weapon is a category with many different types. So yeah, AR’s, AK’s, knives, Styer, Galil’s, rocks, hands, and feet.”
Anti-gunners like to point at "A well regulated militia" so let's talk about that. At the time of the ratification of the Bill of Rights, less than 10 years have passed since the end of the Revolutionary War. The legislature was extremely apprehensive of having a large standing army. Although the US Army existed, it was very small. Remember, a few short years before they had fought a war against the very army that was supposedly there to protect them. So in keeping the size of the Army small, they mitigated the potential threat that they could become if turn against the people. Thus, the first purpose of the militia was to flesh out the rank and file of the military. The idea was that in times of national emergency, militias would be formed from the general population with the Army forming its core. After the crisis has passed, the militias would be immediately disbanded. This leads directly to the second purpose of the militia, to stand against the Army should that become necessary. The Second Amendment is there to provide the means to fight the next revolutionary war. One cannot help but draw this conclusion with even a cursory examination of history. But when the average high school student thinks Abraham Lincoln lead the Revolutionary War against France in 1492, is it any wonder that your average city dweller could be lead by the nose by some sweet-talking congressman? Priests, politicians, and used car salesmen. The only difference is what they're selling.
👍👍Thanks for your comments . Whether I need a certain firearm or not should not be decided by the government but by me. It should be none of their business how I choose to protect myself and family. Our government is involved in things they have no business in.
One of the most astonishing thing about the AR-15 is that they are coming down in price tremendously. In terms of bang for your buck they are almost impossible to beat and if the Turks ever get into building them I can't see anything competing against it in terms of value.
To expand on my point regarding value. An individual may or may not need an AR-15 but America definitely needs a rifle that can be afforded by everybody, because second amendment is for everybody be they rich, poor, black, white, or whatever.
Hey Patriot; Great video. You made alot of excellent points. I thought it very interesting that you used the very reasoning (do "you need" the freedoms garenteed by the other amendments) I use when I'm asked about needing an AR-15.
