I recieved my 2nd editon yesterday , and i readed the Rules of Play. However, your videos are amazing. That's because of works like this, that most of the people are able to iniciate to board games that have more complexity. Congrats.
Thank you, Eduardo. I'm glad the videos are useful. Most of these games appear complex, but they follow a repeating procedure. Once the procedure is learned, they are pretty simple and logical. Thanks, again.
Again, great video, the best way to get into this amazing game. I've just buy the second edition with de deluxe performance and can't wait to probe it. Muchas gracias, Stuka Joe!
Stuka Joe, Thank you for the two videos. Great Job and very helpful to understand the rules of the game and to follow the example in the playbook. Although English is not my mother language it is very easy to understand and an excellent demonstration and presentation of an awesome game.
Thank you very much for your videos. They help A LOT - I learned Churchill thanks to your example of play, as I am sure it will be a lot easier to learn T&T now.
Hello Stuka Joe, Thanks for those 2 excellent videos ! Next Sunday it will be our first T&T day. We will try to start with the introductions in the Playbook ..... and then ..... Our first feeling is that with T&T we have a Winner ! Greetz from Antwerp, little Belgium, Roger.
+Stuka Joe I have a question. What would happen to the Soviet cadres in Poland if the Axis takes Warsaw successfully? Does the Soviet have to disband their units? or it is automatically DoW?
Not that it matters but for the naval battle around 39:00, the British Fleet would've hit on 3's or less and not 2's or less, since the Brits have the Sonar Tech. No 3's were rolled, though, so the point is moot. Thanks for the video - with the 2nd edition now out, it is extremely useful, and easier to visualise than the (well designed of its own merit) example in the playbook.
Hi Stuka. Great Video. Thanks. One doubt. On minute 38:16 you say that subs have the option to retreat before battle. I can't find that anywhere. They can escape at the end of combat round. Have I missed something?
This is in reponse to Carlos Ferreira's comment. You are right, Carlos. Subs can avoid combat after one round of combat is concluded (not before). Otherwise, subs could always stay submerged in a sea area and no one could attack them! Thanks for the observation. I will post a note.
Hi, useful content, thank you. About to play for the first time this morning (I own the game so the others are further behind) and this has made it possible. Some feedback - Speaking sound levels are low. For the intro music I have to turn sound down to 20% but the speaking parts, I have to turn it up to 100% with headphones on. This was true for part 1 as well. - Fortresses never check supply, so no need to check for the ones in Lorraine and Gibraltar. - "Su-ez" not "Su-wez". "Madeera" not "Madaira". "Cadray" not "Cadree".
another one for my collection of unplayed games :)... I do like this game, even if is kinda weird to play it solo. Most of the time what I do is play one faction at a time and walk away, and probably play the next faction the next day. One thing for sure; I'll be sitting often as soon my kid understand the concepts of the game.
+Michael Vincenty I think this is definitely a game that is fun when played with two opposing players. Since it depends on cards for almost anything, playing it solo is kind of hard, specially, when its also a block game.
+Stefan Müller You're right, Stefan. The Population Points of India and Suez are not blockaded at all as a result of a Mediterranean Blockade, only Resources (the triangle in Med Blockade counter gives a hint of this). Only the the POP points for Canada and the U.S. are blockaded.
In my personal opinion the diplomatical aspects are the best. With three sides the game autobalnces a bit, in this video the Axis is doing very well and the West has major problems. The third side , the Soviets, will likely not mess with the West then and will try to stop/slow down the Axis instead...
Think the Allies' navy can force that escaped sub to fight again during their move if permitted. Makes sense or else escaped subs could just remain as blockaders ad infinitum? Just got the game and your play-through videos are really useful.

For me, it is so great to see that the video remains useful after all these years. Thank you so much!

This really helped thanks one thing I'd say is it was hard to hear at times. I am listening in my work truck though.
You made such an amazing video. Thank you.

51:30: Why would the POP of Delhi be blockaded? 14.24 says: "POP is not affected by Med blockade"

My read is that they don't block supply lines just trade routes, also they limit strategic movement
51.50 POP can go round Africa I believe? Trans-Africa considerations only impact RES?
I don’t remember… it’s been a long time since the video. Cheers!
Haha yes! @StukaJoe
Thanks for a top notch video on this
Great vid.
Love you Joe
Mediterranean Blockade only affects black resources that cannot reach the capital. Black resources may not go around Africa.
Is this game still worth getting?
Yeah 3rd print is just coming out
Excellent spanish pronunciation
Thank you, seado3. I'd better, with a Puerto Rican accent, of course. Cheers.
