Hi QEH,
I have clarification in the presentation two different kind of information same for defects..outer diameter undersize is defects or defective..???

OD undersize is one defect and the part is Defective.
The same part can have other defects also. For example OD undersize, Dent mark on OD, Rougnness higher then required.
One defective part can have more then one defects as mentioned above.

One more thing i would like to know.. defect and defective is there any interelated with repair and rework process??
i.e
-defects can be rework or repaired?
-defective can't be reworked or repaired?
Kindly clarify for better understanding sir

It depends on the defects. Defects are on a defective part. So, if you can can rework or repair defects then defective is also reworked or repaired automatically. Hope it is clear now. Happy Learning ahead.
