Apparently the wardrobe was a British school uniform for boys before high school usually under 14 short trousers was like your still a boy long trousers your almost a man long tradition Roman's did something similar. But they told him he would never grow up and he didn't particularly want too even today. And the fans didn't like it the one time he did were the outfit.
