This is an easy-to-follow and very comprehensible explanation for an advanced topic. I'd never be able to build and fly a simulated plane. Well done. *Thumbs up*
Nice panel, makes me want to rebuild my hardwood cockpit. I see daily an old Seneca twin that is scrap, but seems way to big to build sensible simulator.
A fun 'fact': You can add an instrument with this API function: siminnovations.com/wiki/index.php?title=Shut_down Connect that function to a button (to a Raspberry Pi or an Arduino) that triggers this API function on all your Raspberry Pi Air Player devices and with one button press you can shutdown all your Raspberry Pi's.
@@letsfly If you use inter-instrument communication, then you can shut everything down with one button push by letting all devices listen to the same command.
hi thanks for sharing i wonder if you can help me i have main computer with MSFS on it and a desk top touch screen computer with Air manager on it i have downloaded the plugiins on MSFs comp and Air manager on desk top still i cant get the gauges to work any ideas might help me thanks
Hello. Well you need air Manager plug in on main pc and air player on the second. Air manager is only for use on the main pc and for configurating the remote computers. For each remote you need a single air player license.
Hi, no. For the G1000 there are several other solutions possible. Either an additional screen in x-plane and you drag it to that screen or external solutions that are maily tablet based to reduce the workload on the Main fs PC
Vielen Dank
Hallo, Es kommt darauf an, welche Instrumente Du brauchst.
@@letsfly cool, danke dir. Dann lohnt es sich für mich nicht. Ich kann die Instrumente mit XTextureExtractor extrahieren, leider habe ich aber den Windows Fensterrahmen mit dabei. Genau das wollte ich nicht.

Building a new rig and PC's. I dont want to get stuck with 1 cockpit, Plane so this is perfect for me ! THANKS FOR SHARING !
Air Manager is indeed very easy to use and very versatile. You could tell the panel to load when a speciffic plane is loaded in the sim.

Thanks for sharing - Nice Video and explanation
Excellent tutorial, Thanks for making it!
Thank you Captain Bob

Cool
Great informative vid 👌

this is a great feature!!!!
I am playing around with arduino currently and am trying that soon!!!!

Did you have to purchase 3 copies of Air Player for the Raspberry Pi 's or just one?
one for each - that may be the downside, but compared to hardware instruments it is very cheap
Much cheaper to use a 24" monitor and 1 raspberry pi or run off main PC if you dont use any pull outs.
