This vid appeared on my ‘recommended’ list and I’m so glad it did! I have a 2560 mega and a Leonardo board that I was planning on using for my home simpit, I also have the demo version of Air Manager on my pic (after seeing this vid will be purchasing very soon!), but I always wondered how to get everything working together.
One question though, how does air manger handle using MUX boards connected to a single mega board? It’s a great way to add more inputs while reducing the number of connections on the master board, but will air manager detect these extra switches?

Great Video. I am about to try and do this. Can you please post a link to the HDMI-UPS converter you use?

Cool video, you do that well!
I followed everything you talked about step by step. I use xplane more than MSFS as I just built my first beefy gaming computer running i9-12900k, 4070ti GPU with 32gb of DDR5 memory.
Watching your video, I tend to over think these processes, so bare with me.
What I get hung up on are the pins and wires. Are you soldering wires to pins of the Arduino's? Where do they attach and how? And specifically, Air Manager is for those that choose to build the yoke, panels and alike and not using the pre-manufactured devices like Thrustmaster and Honeycomb create?
    Thanks for your time!
    David

Hi David, and thank you! Yes, I do solder a bit, but most of the soldering is done on the electronics component side - I usually use jumper wires that just plug onto the Arduino so that I can change things or re-use them later. And Air Manager can be used to create consoles and displays, even if you choose to use other accessories for your flight controls, they both work together very well! Hope this helps!

How do you handle mouse refocus after using touchscreen or Knobster? Do you have to slide the mouse back up to the main screen?

thank you sir! i have am4 but never been able to create a 530 (g1000) on my touch screen which i would like to use for all the aircraft with g530. can you do a tutorial on how to make a panel with a garmin530 for use with different aircraft? that would be much appreciated.

I'll see if I can put one together for you. Are you wanting to use the touch screen only for the interface? Or would you want to use something like the Knobster for your encoders?

@@n4osx thank you for your reply, thats very kind of you! yes i have the knobster too. i like to use it to control the 530/1000 on my touch screen. i have seen videos on how people pop out the garmin window but that dont work for me. i should mention i am using x-plane 11. thanks for your help!!!
