Love these full round episodes!!! If nothing else, people can see how you should pace and behave on a golf course. I rarely play as a single because getting paired up is a nightmare anymore.
You were the first YT golfer I started watching in 2019/2020. I taught myself how to golf by watching your videos. Really enjoy the 18 holes course vlogs.
Great content! The full 18 is worth the effort. The biggest plus is Eric talking through every shot, where the trouble is, the wind etc gold info for us learning to play better golf. Thanks Eric and Mary
Your swing is so smooth. It's nice to see how much distance can be gotten with good tempo. Thanks for your commentary asking the way. It helps me to see the thought process.
Love, love, love this content! 7 handicap here, and the way you talk through your thought process is extremely important to me, especially when thinking about yardage to the back of the green, what to play off the tee! Great job, keep them coming!!
I saw this pop up in my feed and knew what I was going to watch tonight! Been following Eric for years now and have always wanted to follow through 18. Thinking out loud w/ the jokes is fantastic. This is premium content Eric!! Great editing by the team as well!
Good to see you doing the course vlogs again EC! I know you said in the past they get lower views, but I have to say, the subscribers are missing out not watching and getting inside your mind on course.
great round man. nice to finally see a club / youtube pro play so well. very inspirational. great to listen to your thought process. you make it look so easy. thanks
Love the vids. Keep up the great work. Would love to see more colabs with mid handicappers to compare and contrast playing differences between you two.
Great stuff Eric! Love the pre-shot thought process. Suggestion- a camera at the green to get a picture-in-picture of the ball landing is a great visual as well. Keep up the great work!
Would love for you to do a bi or tri-weekly series of you just playing and having fun/matches with your boys. Maybe include some of your local scratch guys, college players, etc. Would be awesome to see. Maybe even some of the staff can get involved. Them head professionals and assistants need to get out of the shop more!!!
great series, keep it going! love hearing the thought processes and it’s nice to see a teaching pro play well too. if you think 18 is too long, some more streamlined editing, particularly between shots, could get this down to 30-40 min. you should offer to give rick shiels a playing lesson!
Very entertaining content. You are the best coach on UA-cam and that’s me after watching golf videos for 10* years. HTF did you not shoot 10 under during this round? If you could putt, you’d be dangerous! ;-)
Eric, Super glad I found you. Broke a bone in foot so been working on my “mental” game since can’t actually play. Can’t wait to put what’s been learned from you while I’ve been in “study” mode. I prefer 9 hole format as it’s hard to dedicate the consistent time for 18 without interruption. This content give great insight what the pros and candies are chatting about. Question: what tracker are you using in this video? Thanks for what you do!!! We appreciate it immensely.
I liked this very much, especially how you think about under estimating the puts to have an uphill put if you miss the hole. I’m wondering about the clubs you use. I didn’t see any hybrids, you use very long irons. You hit your FW3 once, but you don’t like it. Tell us a little more about the clubs in your bag, it would be interesting to hear more about them and why you choose irons before hybrids and FW.
@@CogornoGolf thank you Eric, I will try these drills out at my next range session. It’s very frustrating to go from mid to low 80’s for 2 years straight, to shooting 105 at a fairly easy course.
The calculus on hole 4 you talked us through was funny but you are so right, us amateurs never take enough club. Maybe it's a pride thing? We don't want our buddies to think we are weak? The distances we assign to our clubs are with the assumption we hit it flush but how many times do we hit it on the screws? If we did, we probably wouldn't be here watching your videos. Love the on course videos. Would be cool to see some collabs and some fun trash talking with other influencers.
Lol love it Koby! No hybrid----have a 4 iron, 2 iron, 3 wood, driver. May throw a 3 iron in there as I have a gap 220-245 between 4 and 2 that I seem to get a lot at osprey lol
@@CogornoGolf you said that you almost never use the 3 wood - so why not changing it to Hybrid? i am just asking you because i have the same issue - the 3 wood is in the bag but i never use it 🤣
Hey coach, Awesome video. Just wondering about your pre-shot routine, particularly at the tee - does it appear abbreviated because some of it has been edited out? Or is it that quick irl?
Some of it edited for sure yep... I like to do 2 practice swings first Then take a moment to visualize the shot I want to hit and get present in the moment Then breathe and go
Yeah I hear ya Joe....with Osprey the fairways are pretty wide BUT.....they almost all have hazard like immediately off the fairway. And a lot of the trouble comes in at my 280-310 driver range. Most times my 250-260 2 iron takes out a lot of the trouble and still affords me a short iron. My prox to the hole (as you can see) isn't really any better from 100 than 140 lol
Love the videos - watch YT channel “not a scratch golfer” to cut down on the time.. he edits well…he narrates 18 holes within 10 minutes.🤷🏽♂️ not sure if that would effect your YT metrics but just offering opinion
18 is Great, how about more collaborations against other You Tube Golfer or other Golf Instructors 🏌🏿♂️🏌🏿♂️🏌🏿♂️🏌🏿♂️ Good Good Mr Short Game Mike Malaska etc etc
Sorry gang we missed the putt on the first :( But I know you trust that I did actually make it lol :)
Be present. Feel the wind. Feel my feet on the ground. Priceless.
Great video and great round of golf. Thanks Eric
Thank you!👊

Nice round. I like this content. It shows the difference between range practice and on-course factors that affect club selection.

Very nice. Refreshing content!
Thanks Paul!
I think this is such an awesome series. It’s as close as we can get to playing with you which of course would be epic..lol.
Lol thank you! Trying to make it feel as close as that as possible :)

Love it DH! Would love to play with him---he certainly doesn't need a lesson from me but could be a fun match :)

Thanks Randell! Will be warm up there soon :) See ya this summer
I loved today’s video
Appreciate that :)
I'm all about 18. These are great.

Lol thanks Neil! Short game has always held me back for sure!
The early walk got me there on 2 LOL
Cracking content, if you are ever in Scotland I'll take you to Dundonald Links for a round 👍
Appreciate it John---deal!
Awesome content. Let go with 36!!
Lol @Patrick---maybe a 2 hour ultra video one day HA!
Favorite coach 🤙🏻
Appreciate ya!!
I don’t know how you can film out at Osprey. That course is never not busy lol. Solid round 🏌🏻♂️
Thanks :) Awesome place with lots of play!

Appreciate you being here with us Brian! Hopefully these help.
I believe Mary uses the "shot tracer app" on iPhone for these

Good call Maria will have to do a what's in the bag at some point!
you should play with fat perez / good good / mr shortgame etc. think that would be great content and also would get a lot of engagement
100% would love to and will try and set that up moving forward for sure
Hey Eric, do you have a quick cure for the shanks?
I would start here:

@@CogornoGolf thank you Eric, I will try these drills out at my next range session. It’s very frustrating to go from mid to low 80’s for 2 years straight, to shooting 105 at a fairly easy course.
Yo EC, can we get a WITB for 2023 please?
Yessir!

great chipping tips

Eric, what app on your phone are you using / or software in post are you using to track your tee shots, Thanks
One day I hope I can control my shots like you do 😂
:) You'll get there! Appreciate you watching, Justin!
Hey Eric, what tripod for your phone and mic set up are you using?
Great questions Ian---will see if Mary sees this and can answer!
Eric, do you find playing here in Florida at sea level, you have to go up a club?
Hey Randy! I haven't personally found any change in distance thus far
E -- I know this costs a fortune to produce. Your generosity to your subscriber base and the public at large knows no bounds. Thanks brother.
R - I completely agree!
I - same!
You got it Rhod---a lot of time from the team on these for sure. Appreciate the kind words and support!
So in the zone there I didnt even know the right score :)
Eric! Blast driver! The data is clear, scores lower the closer you get to the hole.

Osprey Point in Boca Raton, FL
2 man scramble with another decent player, 18 holes
Love it Jason! More course vlogs on the way!
Love it…. But love matches more 😉
:) Thank you Ryan! More matches coming soon!
Driver!! LFG
:)
I love the 18 holes, but for those who might have a problem with it try recording the round and doing a voice-over later to save some time.
Good call Randy----we have been discussing that. Thanks!
Low skipper!
:)

Thank you for your feedback and for watching, Eldred!
Putt with more shoulders and less wrists and hands 😁
Agreed!
I prefer the 9 hole matches with less commentary.
Thanks Jim! Appreciate any and all feedback!
