Honestly I really like the hurricane, one of my favourite SMG in the game purely because its like a hybrid AR/SMG with very forgiving recoil. It might not be strong but shots on target are very consistent.
It's actually one of if not the best hipfire build in the entire game. It can be comically accurate with the hip spread buffs from the stock, barrel, laser, foregrip, and a sprintout time foregrip. It's just top teir

Then CoD's fascination of having vintage or outdated weapons in their modern games. We've had double barrels, lever actions, single action revolvers, and WW2 items even before MW19.
I love how Ace called for exact stats to be displayed in the gunsmith, even though if that were added a lot less people would flock to his channel to get said stats
People would still watch, not everyone likes to read and use detailed statistics to try to come up with the best build for them, So ace would still have plenty of people coming by.
It's actually funny because in the previous games where they added advanced stats I still watched his videos because a lot of times the stats were just incorrect. I doubt his views would drop that much, but that's just me.
Ehhhhh not necessarily. Cold War displayed pretty much all advanced stats (some not completely accurately but still a good first attempt) and Vanguard was a bit of a step back, and people still watched his vids. People like being told things by someone who knows what they're talking about.
I like using the canted laser on this gun to mitigate the slow ads speeds. Would like to see a dedicated video on canted lasers as they really change the character of a gun pretty drastically when equipped.
I find this gun to be great. 50 rounds great, and the right attachments I feel it's more of a Lazer almost. It's personally one of my go to guns. I feel I can actually challenge some camper looking out a window with how accurate this gun is.

Ace I think you should consider headshots actually make a big help up close. Consider you can get 1 headshot turning it into a 3shot kill anywhere long as you get 1 headshot in the mix making it’s actually more forgiving on shot placement

I feel like whenever a gun has a big mag, the developers nerf other properties of said gun so hard, which always leads to a disappointing gun overall. Honestly can't think of a base weapon with a big magazine (apart from LMG's) being a dominant gun in a CoD game
Curious, when looking at base recoil (around 03:00min) you have "bounce" from the recoil, but most of the side-to-side movement on the recoil looks like sway from aim stability. How does it line up if you try to tighten stabiility, rather than focus on recoil control ?
Had to chuckle with the "I can perform really well with it" comment at 8:23. Watching the clips you always include Ace, I suspect that comment will apply to anything you've got your mitts on. Nice demo of your skills including map & enemy awareness.
You need to start adding "SBMM damage" lol. "That's a 4-shot kill, or if you are decent at the game, that's 6-13 hit markers, not too bad. Just keep your k/d under .75 and you should be melting people in about 12 games."
I hate this gun. You would think a weapon with low recoil and a 50 round mag would be one of the best guns in the game, but the damage output is just terrible. I wanted to like this gun so bad, but I feel like it gets out gunned so easily by every other AR and SMG in this game.
I can never tell if I like this gun, I feel I either make it too bouncy with attachments or too unforgiving with a slower speed. The ttk also feels odd sometimes I feel like I’m doing great other times it feels like I have to out half a Mag into someone

It's called the AR Five Seven, not the fifty seven, it's named after the ammo type it takes which is 5.7 mm round, which is ALSO used in the P90 with the same type of magazine.
I really like that the p90 and ffs hurricane's velocity is really high. Irl, the 5.7mm cartridge was specifically designed to be really high velocity, in order to defeat body armor.
When leveling up this gun I kind of had the feeling it was a miniature LMG due to the fact that the magazine lasts so long with its slower rate of fire than the FN P90. There's also a cool animation note as with a lot of guns when you're mounted and you reload you stay mounted to the surface but with this gun it breaks your mount to reload much like the LMGs in this game. I found this gun to be an odd choice as it's very obscure even within the gun community and it's only redeeming factor is that it uses the large capacity of a P90 magazine but while having a very awkward reload cycle. It would have been cool to have the CMMG banshee chambered in 5.7 using the FN 57 magazines and at the same time use that as a basis for a general AR9 weapon in the game as there is none currently like there was in the previous game through the caliber change attachment.
This is my favorite gun in the game. For whatever reason when I use it, I shred with it. If I try to use one of the meta guns, I don't do as well. Not sure what's up but man I love it.

My favourite gun so far. I lean fully into recoil control and use it like a long range laser beam lmg. This gun is extremely underrated at long range imo.
I hope you can test the ads of rear grips and stocks because ads time in this game is important and its hard for me to get the right build, you dont have to if you dont want but i hope you would do❤
Ive noticed you use a non-standard ammo type with most of your loadouts. Ive watched your ammo type vids and didnt think the benefits were worth the attachment slot in most cases. Could you do a video that touches on optimization of raw stats vs losing some of that for ammo types?
He did do a video looking specifically on ammo types and initially dismissed them as usually not being worth the attachment slot with the normal downsides. However it seems that with the fact that he doesn't tend to fully kit out his guns, if there's no real downside to adding an ammo type (like the minor drop to velocity being a very negligible tradeoff on the Hurricane and most ammo types have that tradeoff) that has some benefit, why not toss it on? Sort of like the shark fin foregrip. No reason not to use it if you have the attachment slot open.
As a proud owner of this weapon, it's an AR-57 you're right. Pronounced AR Five Seven and not AR Fifty Seven due to the cartridge its chambered - 5.7mm. Same cartridge (and mag) the P90 uses and the FN FiveseveN hand gun.

Something is seriously wrong with this game. A lot of times im hitting chest shots and its like im shooting ping pong balls. The bullets dont do a damn thing. Is anyone else having problems?

In pubs you can use them - but realistically no, ARs are way too good in this game and the maps are heavily designed around long cuts. There’s almost no maps where subs are the better choice tbh, even farm 18 and fortress (where subs are decent) you’ll probably get more versatility out of a 74u/stb/m4 since there’s still so many power positions that suit AR’s. Tbh the stb and 74u being as good as they are is half the problem, but as we’ve seen in the pro scene, they’re using 4 M4’s on each team since the suns aren’t THAT much stronger up close, and are only better at like 10-15m, and map design just doesn’t favour them at all
Having worked my way through unlocking and leveling up most of the primaries, I somewhat have that same question. Shotguns are so good in this game, and the OSK range for them is so similar to the max damage range for SMGs that I feel like SMGs are meant to be a counter for LMGs/ARs/BRs up close but in practice, they get outclassed by shotties at that role. They do offer really good movement speed for a primary weapon, though, so it depends on the movement skill of the user to some extent.

This gun is deceptively good. Yeah it might have a slower ttk, but the recoil pattern + bullet velocity + high base 50 round clip make this gun one of the easiest to use in the game.

This gun is really underrated. Even with max mobility/handling build, recoil is still very forgiving event with mid-range engagments.
the problem is you need to get the Recon to lvl 16 and that gun to annoying as hell to level with.

Combine the recoil control and a Holo sight and this thing is unstoppable at medium ranges.

CLASSIC mw2 barrel attatchements. The pros are 1.5% range buff and slightly worse recoil, and the cons? *60ms* slower ads speed 🤣

This gun is deceptively good.
Yeah it might have a slower ttk, but the recoil pattern + bullet velocity + high base 50 round clip make this gun one of the easiest to use in the game.
