Haha kinda true, I think moongels are awesome and usually use 1 or 2 at most to get rid of a few overtones. But as long as they are satisfied with the sound it doesen't really matter
Are you gone all crazy? This is what I was told when I let the world know I use this wonder gel on my tonearm fitted with a 12 hundred dollar cartridge, with a Shibata diamond stylus mounted on a boron cantilever. I had already installed the excellent K.A.B. Silicone trough at the base of the arm pivot to quell tonearm resonance. Then 6 months later I decided to try the moon gel. I must say it actually increased the effect of serenity and staid performance from the cartridge/ tone arm combo. This was evident on better defined bass, cleaner transients and even smoother full symphony crescendos with more detail into the 20 kilohertz and beyond. Of course I calibrated the tone arm to operate with the extra weight. Don’t forget about that. It is crucial. The cartridge and the tone arm functions as a percussion instrument after all. Think about it.
These are just awesome!!! Got my new Tama superstar and changed the heads for Evans ebony chrome and one moongel on each head. Sound improved studio quality. Thanks for such a great product.👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
It really depends on how well you care for them. We recommend storing them in their case when not in use and washing them periodically when they get dirty. The general rule of thumb for us is replace Moongel when they turn from bright blue to a purple color.
Dampeners on cymbals? Like tape, just...no. Get cymbals that don't have the bad overtones you don't like. Consider the alloy that your cymbals are made from and also consider how the different manufacturers actually fabricate their cymbals. Good cymbals don't have to be necessarily expensive; but expensive ones do not guarantee good sound quality. There are a lot of "smaller" manufacturers making outstanding cymbals that get unnoticed because they're not one of the "big 4" (Zildjian, Sabian, Meinl or Paiste).
5/5 blueberry flavor recommended
Yo... you good?
@@AdamHalvo he dead
1:46 it's alive!!
2:30 if you need 5 moongels to control your sound, you might want to re-tune your drums instead x'D
The guy is spitting facts
even after tuning my snare still had a echoe resonance sound but cutting 2 moongels in half on it got rid of it for me

It really depends on the environment you're playing.

Interesting!
Thanks for saying "damping" and not making things wet. :)

Just got these for Christmas with my snare and I love them 😊
@@RTOMCorporation yes they make my snare sound so good. 😊
My audio engineering teacher recommended these, just placed an order :)
It looks like it's yummy.
Can confirm. It’s yummy.
with a little tide pod on top, mmm, perfect
atleast its non toxic xD
One square of the gel over the tone arm head shell and another where the tone arm reaches the pivot, at the back.
Music intro of muse hysteria
I used these to help remove vibration on my drone's GoPro camera
For how long can I use or re-use this moongels? Good stuff by the way 🤘🏼

I want to see that kit!!! DW...? What is the finish?
Can someone tell me what do they taste like
can somebody please tell me the exact drums that those are dw I know but which wood etc etc
Or you can get a whole pack of sticky gel hands for the same price and get the same effect :P
Does not it stain white drumheads?
Sometimes it may leave a little residue if you leave them on for months at a time without removing them but hitting your drum heads also leaves marks.
really nice with some paparika
Are you 12?
Can you reuse moongel ?
Yeah as many times as you like, it keeps sticking, and if it's dirty you can just wash it with some soap and warm water.
Duuuuuuuur jeeze idk.....
Absolutely!

A me non funzionano oid ocrop
And I still don't know if I can use it vertically, like on bass drums.
You can use it vertically but you would need alot more than 1 pack for a bass drum.
Cant you just cut up some uncooked jelly
That first tom without the gel on it sounds so gross
It doesn’t work for me they all sound the same
Try tuning them :)
it makes me feel sexy sexy
con: they don’t taste good:(
You absolutely cannot use it on the bottom of a snare head. It just keeps falling off. That is misinformation
Mh yummy
I don't like these things. It's messy.
Used properly, they're mess-free.
the options are not blue and clear. they're both clear. the options are blue and colourless.
Why not just put your wallet or somthing
RTOM Corporation will it last a life time?
Wallets tend to move
Sure just stick it to your res head or cymbal , you'll be hundreds
Wallets bounce all over and way over muffle dipshit
You can leave your wallet on my snare. :)
Just use a wallet.
