Hello everyone. In the video, I said I would explain later where Karpov missed the better defense. I forgot :) Here is the line Karpov missed right after kasparov missed Qb5. 33... Nc5 34. Qd8+ Kh7 35. Qxc8 Qa1+ 36. Kg2 Qxe5
This ends In a draw or Karpov wins .. Kasparov was very lucky Karpov missed it... Else this game would be remembered as world championship distractor chess arbiter game
Minkki82 It doesn't matter since when you're uploading. Quality of video and audio, extra pieces of information, you name it. That's why this is probably the single best chess Channel on YT.
Agadmator, it's simply astounding the tidbits and info you manage to find and provide on all these games, providing back stories. It must take you some time. Your channel is too notch. I can remember finding your channel back when you were under 10k, and now you're the most watched chess channel on UA-cam, no? Just fantastic work.
Thanks. This is the game I actually remember quite well as I was following all the Karpov-Kasparov World Championship matches at the time. I was a kid attending one of the numerous chess clubs in what at the time was still Soviet Union and we had studied every game after it was played. I was in Karpov's fan club and this game was a disaster :-)
Ahh we all love Medo ! Doing such a good job, being your second ! (secundant). Great part 1, really looking forward to see more masterpieces from Garry !
Meredith Brooks 1997 song: Bitch. ua-cam.com/video/bv4q4Kk0Qr0/v-deo.html You see Meredith Brooks looked at what bitch meant and she said female dog. How stupid and feminized have the feminists made you ?
Dont you laugh ignorant fool Crazy feminists sponsored by George Soros is plotting a take over, he cant touch Eastern Europe as George Soros is banned in most countries.
Its unbelievable that after reading the comment section, I realised that I missed any sort of movement of you sweety at the back. The game was so intense and so as your storytelling/commentry.
I am feeling Deja Vu when you mentioned Kasparov entering the game early and Karpovs reaction to the position. I’ve definitely heard that before but can’t tell.
I watched that game - rooting for Karpov . What a great game! At the time I thought Sicilian dragon defence may have been a better opening for black. Who knows... Anyway, two great champions!
#suggestion Garry Kasparov and Lajos Portisch Round 4 Niksic Tournament in 1983, the double bishop sacrifice. I was surprised when I found out you haven't covered this game of Kasparov, it's more than remarkable! Sincerely
One of the most memorable Kasparovs game was when he had king+queen+bishop and his opponent had only alone king. Huge 20 seconds to flag and after few moves the result is.... STEALMATE. The biggest Kasparovs blunder ever!
#Suggestion: Hi Antonio. I love your channel and you are the best chess commentator I know. I would like you to make a Video on the most amazing game of Bobby Fischer that I have seen, and perhaps one of the greatest game in chess History. The game was played during 1963 US Chess Championship tournament between 20 year old Bobby Fischer and 35 year old Roland Byrne who, was GM and the brother of International Master Donald byrne, whom Bobby defeated 7 years earlier, in the battle of the Century. This game is considered more witchcraft than chess, since the position in move 11 is almost symmetrical and Roland resigns after 11 more moves, when the two Grand Masters who are commentating the game for the audience think that Bobby is lost...
The dog probably had flees or some skin irritation that causes itchyness. He is writhing on his back to try to scratch those hard to get to places that his claws can't reach. Some people interpret his movements as "crazyness" or "dreams". I have urged Agadmator to treat his dogs itchiness several times. Maybe he does but it doesn't look like it is effective. It can be treated with some special shampoos and powders. The lounge and blankets need to be treated as well as they may harbor fleas and bugs.
Interesting is the game Tempo e Kasparov in the World Junior chp. A game which Kasparov annotated in detail and the opening is also a double fianchetto. Kasparov himself calls this system 'dangerous'. This game must have influenced his choice for the opening of this final game against Karpov in '87.
Enjoy your channel. new to chess strategy. at around 8:51, you say that karpov would have moved Kh7. Why not move Nd6 first so that Kasparovs queen couldn't go to e8
Hello everyone. In the video, I said I would explain later where Karpov missed the better defense. I forgot :) Here is the line Karpov missed right after kasparov missed Qb5.
33... Nc5 34. Qd8+ Kh7 35. Qxc8 Qa1+ 36. Kg2 Qxe5
agadmator's Chess Channel I’m a very bad chess player and can’t see lines like this at all after qb5 why does nd6 not work. I probably don’t see it
Could you show some of your Modern Benoni games?
This ends In a draw or Karpov wins .. Kasparov was very lucky Karpov missed it... Else this game would be remembered as world championship distractor chess arbiter game
Yeah, that would be so much better, a free knight
Derek Smith I am thinking white plays Qc6 after Nd6.
In all honesty I have to watched this twice because I just can't ignore that majestic beast u have at the back
That's why he has that dog.. to get more views.
Dog has a winning position on the couch
Lmao true
best comment EVER
So what is the dog's name. He should be introduced.
@@robertphillips2769 medo
The dog should have something to do .... I think it's bored ... Actually I think it's sad 😔😞
"the other thing is, it gives Karpov a chance to blunder". Excellent strategy, I will try that in my next game against Karpov :)
nothing distracting in this video..
Very suspicious
This channel is so underrated
Chess is underrated.
Minkki82 It doesn't matter since when you're uploading. Quality of video and audio, extra pieces of information, you name it. That's why this is probably the single best chess Channel on YT.
Not underrated. Almost 100k subs in short amount of time. Decent amount of views per video compared of subs. Really good channel.

Yes, it behaves like a crazy western feminist silly woman. I bet its a female dog, a bitch.
John Smith wtf
Meredith Brooks 1997 song: Bitch.

The nerves of steel on this game and your cute dog enjoying couch time is just amazing
"It was in this position that the dog realised his paws couldnt reach the ceiling, bit he continued neverthe less."
It's certainly a candidate for Best Medo Freakout of All Time.
"A very important moment in chess history." You nailed it, Agadmator.
3:05 I lost focus on the game cuz of that doggo
Its unbelievable that after reading the comment section, I realised that I missed any sort of movement of you sweety at the back. The game was so intense and so as your storytelling/commentry.
im in love with alpha zeros game style love those videos !!! this one is great also thankyou for your insight
Suyeah!
Enjoying going back to the old videos from before I found your channel
Great tactical chess by Kasparov.
There are no tactics in this game. This was a calm, positional game.
Tactical??? This was a positional destruction
This is one of my favorite dog videos on youtube. Wait, there's chess too?
you should do a compilation of dogmator's best moments in the couch..who else would be interested in this?
Thank you for all the extra effort in the longer videos these days.
Just need to express: I love your videos. Simple but memorable and informative.
I am feeling Deja Vu when you mentioned Kasparov entering the game early and Karpovs reaction to the position. I’ve definitely heard that before but can’t tell.
Title should be agadmator's dog's most memorable moments on the couch.
You do some pretty great analysis on these games
Agad - less than 3k to reach 100k subscriptions... wow I was there when u hit 25k and now we are on the edge of 100k. COUNTDOWN IS ON !!!!
Msn,you got me hooked on your channel, can't watch other, for 5sec !
I watched that game - rooting for Karpov . What a great game! At the time I thought Sicilian dragon defence may have been a better opening for black. Who knows... Anyway, two great champions!
Title of this video should be "Kaspar-uh-Karpov" :)
another great video... thanks
I'll really enjoy if you make a Garry Kasparov saga.
very good explanation, I learn a lot of your englisch, Kasparov plays like showing that chess is so easy to play, congrats !!!!!
I can’t concentrate on the game, your dog is making me laugh so much :-) Seriously, though, great vids!
Wanting to go to sleep but I saw a notif from you. Gotta stay awake for another 19 minutes I guess. 😁😁
I might have complete chess blindness. Will consult my doctor asap.
I feel Caissa is with you Antonio radic.
I think she is, but she's certainly more with that doggo xd
karpov vs kasparov, biggest rivalry in chess history, it was by hearing the similar name of this two russians that i started loving chess

What was the opportunity Karpov missed at 10:30
Chaturanger
B2 to D2
Medo is a huge fan of Kasparov's opening
The dog on 16:00 is like
- Come on man, pay attention at me. LOL
One of the most legendary games in chess history and your dog still gets to be the protagonist. Again. XD
Your dog is playing the deadly "scratch my belly" defense. Mate is assured.
It is not Garry Kasparov’s most memorable moments it is agadmator’s dog’s most memorable moments
Beautiful game💯
Important information from this game for me is that the adjournment was allowed upto this date atleast ❤.
Thanks.
Your dog is just awesome man, just awesome. :D
Two titans of chess going at each other... Whew!
8:32 I actually found it ;)
It make me so happyyy
The dog has a winning position in terms of entertainment.
*Scrolls down to comments expecting them to be entirely about the dog*
*is not disappointed*
Your dog scratching his back cracked me up. I had to watch twice because I couldn’t pay attention to you.

4:34 when the dog to a nap i started to understand the game
I'm inspired by watching these games which got me back in my chess mode. I want to post a game i played to get your take on it was beautiful a game

dead clovvn you get em bro
3:00 The dog is clearly trying to signal Karpov to run like hell because he's screwed.
You dog really seems to be enjoying your introduction to this game! You know, they say dogs are very perceptive....
As long as Kasparov improves his position in the board, the dog improves his position in the couch.
HAHAHAHAAAA! I JUST CANT CONCENTRATE ON THIS VIDEO!!! YOUR DOG IS JUST HILARIOUS, MAN!!! XDXDXDDXDXDXD
For people who don't know.. this is what a dog looks like when he's dreaming. He is perfectly healthy/happy!
@Russian Bot Hahaha, you destroyed the stupid 'dog dreaming' comment with such a short reply lol.
Your dog man !!!
🤣🤣🤣 LMAO couldn’t concentrate on the match.
A classic Medo video
That doggo is pure beauty
Damn dude your dog is so happy. He must like chess too!
Thanks.
It was in this position that my attention span resigned the video, having been completely distracted by your dog.

There was a comment made @ 10:34 into the video about a defense Karpov missed. You didn’t show this at the end of the game as promised.
Come on, you can take 10 sec to pet your dog ! ... lol .... Great videos, love them !
Nice game, almost a thriller. #suggestion Show more games of alphazero. Btw what is your microphone?
kasparov is reaching jeff goldblum-in-jurrassic-park level babelyness in his photo lol
The dog has nerves of steel .
At 9:36 and Nh4 Kasparov wins by Qxh4 not the ridiculous Be4+. Ng6 Ne7 Qxe4...
Good video
agadmadog going crazy
3:00 the dog steals the show
Great channel! Can you post some draws from time to time?
I'm a fan of Garry Kasparov
Enjoy your channel. new to chess strategy. at around 8:51, you say that karpov would have moved Kh7. Why not move Nd6 first so that Kasparovs queen couldn't go to e8
Kasparov's most memorable moment should include tge time when he lashed out at Radjabov.
Lovely game
