- Darryl and Mick are busy repairing the Holden Torana LJ Gtr xu1 replacing the right hand sill, right hand welded door hinges and front guard. Darryl is file finishing the right hand inner skirt. PPG drop in for a visit. Graham and Steve install the mixing bank.Darryl and Mick can now build a paint room around the system.

Be great to see how you align the door in detail. My LJ has a similar problem with the doors not fitting but as far as I know the hinges have never been repaired and are factory fitted. On another point I see there is a lot of owners going for the orginal paint look of acrylic from the 70's using 2 pack. Any thoughts on how to archieve this look? I guess no orange peel and a flater clear - maybe? Disclaimer; I'm not a painter or panel guy, just someone looking to finish a 35 year project.
we can do that for you. We will defiantly making it look as close as possible to original.We will also talk in depth later on how to get that no peel finish.With PPG on board we will be going right into the paint. that's cool hopefully we can show some little tips.Thanks eventsysvideo.👍

The owner tracked down the pins. We had the barrels made up.
I see when you guys cut the sheet metal you work slowly and carefully, is that to avoid getting too much heat into the metal?
