I wonder if age factors in. As dhampir, one could certainly argue that he lacks the “true form” or “boss mode” transformability his father has, but I wonder if getting up there in age gives him access to that, or a dhampiric version of bloodrage. My pet theory in the first series was that the red streak, hyperspeed mode his does against ole Dad, and a toned down version earlier against Trevor when Alucard kinda video game-fades off to the right, were his dhampiric version of that same limit breaker, so to speak.
@@björkmou5eprobably as he gets older the more powerful he becomes and more demonic so he has access to his more powerful forms cause in the original series he was only a teenager in an adults body. I don’t think being a dhampir would limit his power at all especially since he is Dracula’s son he has his blood which means he will probably be just as powerful as Dracula the older he gets.
Even after his big ol' climactic magical Power-Up in Season 1, the writers had Richter get curbstomped by Bathory. What kind of help is he supposed to provide?
I wonder if whatever trick they use to take down Bathory will lead to the castle getting powered up to the level it is in the games and that will bring back Dracula and/or Death.
Nocturne does not have the same hold that castlevania did. Their characters aren't as loveable as our og trio however seeing Alucard was worth it so final verdict - Yess unless you're not much of an Alucard fan
I can't say much about Season 2 since it's not out yet, but Season 1 is a depressing, hopeless slog that just shows how low-quality the heroes are until the last two minutes of the last episode where Alucard finally comes in. At that point, just watch that scene on UA-cam and don't bother with the rest.

@IvanDobias I was more thinking the Castle's memory of Dracula than the actual guy, leading into the idea that the castle itself is a monster.
